We are hard at work here in the month of June covering weekly high school leagues, team camps, shootouts, and much more. However, even during all of the busy scholastic competition going on this month, we also wanted to find time to update our prospect rankings. This week features our updated and expanded Prep Hoops Indiana Class of 2028 Prospect Rankings. We are up to 35 ranked prospects and nearly 450 rising sophomore prospects total in the database as a whole after adding about 80 new names this update. As always, we will spend the whole week diving deeper in the rankings. With "only" 35 prospects ranked there are a lot of very talented players not included in the rankings right now. We will highlight some of the top players from the Watch List that will likely be included as we expand to a Top 50, 75, or 100.

From a purely production stand point there are few freshmen who had better starts to their career than this star from West Central High School. Bishop averaged 12.0 points, 2.8 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 1.6 steals per game. Most impressively, he shot 54-148 (36.5%) from three-point range. If the 6'0" guard can continue to shoot the ball like that while showing off his playmaking ability as well he will turn into a very intriguing college prospect.

One of the top scores in Indiana's Class of 2028, Jones put up 17.0 points per game as a freshman at Borden High School. The 6'3" guard has good positional size and athleticism on the perimeter while also shooting the ball well from beyond the arc. He was 41-105 (39.0%) from deep in his inaugural season. His strong play has continued onto the Prep Hoops Circuit through the spring with Era Elite 15u. Definitely one to follow in the years to come.

Moos was able to carve out a role in Kokomo's rotation as a freshman due to his offensive versatility on the perimeter. He has the length and athleticism to operate on the wing while possessing the ball skill to serve as a secondary playmaker as well. Continuing to develop as a catch-and-shoot threat will take his game to the next level, but his ability to score as a driver and slasher already has him as one of Indiana's top rising sophomores.

Per usual, there is no shortage of young, up-and-coming talent at Ben Davis High School. Rogers has proven himself already on the Nike EYBL Circuit with [program_tooltip program_id='2076927' first='Indy' last='Heat'] where he continues to make plays against some of the best Class of 2028 competition in the country. The 6'0" shifty playmaker has excellent court vision and passing ability. It will be interesting to see him continue to compete for minutes among a plethora of other backcourt pieces for the Giants.

One of the best pure floor generals in Indiana's rising sophomore class, Szaferski earned some varsity minutes for Bishop Luers this past season. Now, as a sophomore, he will be asked to take over a much larger role which he looks more than ready to do. Szaferski is an elite passer and crafty enough with the ball in his hands to get consistent paint touches, draw secondary defenders, and make the right read. Adding some more scoring prowess will take his game to another level.

Teixeira possess excellent size and physicality for his age. He can be a very difficult matchup for opposing defenses because he is skill enough to face up and drive it, or shoot it, against bigger defenders but can also physically dominate smaller defenders around the basket. Crown Point has as much young talent right now as any program in the state, but Teixeira will certainly be one that factors into the equation in the years to come.
