Hill - who qualified for the PIL squad having played football for Grant - was named MVP of the event and for good reason - he was absolutely a monster down in the paint. No one could match up with his pure size, but the De La Salle North senior didn't just bully his way to the basket for scores, he showed off good footwork with his moves and a soft touch - which included a couple of face-up jumpers and 5-for-6 free throw shooting in the finals. When the PIL looked to get a bucket in double overtime, it was a play set up for the future Oregon State lineman down low.

Kefgen had his outside shot going in the finals, hitting five threes - four of which in the second half. While many of his points came off his specialty, the catch-and-shoot, the Oregon Tech signee also created off of the bounce and getting to the cup, ending up with a game-high 27 points. He also pulled down a team-high 8 rebounds as the Metro squad matched up well against the larger PIL bodies.

Ness had the ball on a string with his slick handle and was sharp with his jumpshot, whether it was from distance or pulling up in the mid-range. The Tigard senior did a great job setting the table for his teammates as well with 4 assists in the third place win for the TRL to go along with his 22 points. Still unsigned, he is looking at a preferred walk-on possibility with Portland State.

There were some definite shooting displays over the course of the event but none may have been hotter than Spafford's performance in the 5th place game. The Putnam senior was absolutely on fire from distance, hitting eight threes and scoring 32 points total in 5A's win over the Central Valley - a win where the team piled up 94 points. Spafford should be an immediate contributor at Portland CC this upcoming season.

Arguably the top run-and-jump athlete in the gym on Sunday, Aulakh put together quite the game in leading the Southwest Conference to their 7th place game win. Using his jaw-dropping leaping ability, the former North Medford and Rosemary Anderson Prep standout threw down a couple of jams but also showed great touch from the perimeter by knocking down three threes, finishing with a game-high 27 points. He's currently considering a preferred walk-on spot at Oregon.
