Also a Panther, Miller hasn't quite had the ball in his hands as much as Pacheco, but his role as one of South Medford's handful of bucket-getters has made his potential equally apparent. At 6-foot-2, Miller possesses great size for a freshman guard and is already a proven scorer from all three levels, showing off his ability to knock down jump shots from anywhere on the floor so far this season.

With a crafty bag of tricks and a cerebral feel for the game on the offensive end, Pacheco has easily been one of the top contributing freshmen in the league this season. The 5-foot-9 point guard still has plenty of room to grow both physically and as a player, but his current maturity, shot-making ability and feel for the game are already extremely impressive for his age.

Domnich has been an explosive JV scorer for the Axe while swinging up to the varsity level for limited minutes this winter. And while the production hasn't been particularly eye-catching, Domnich's ability as a shooter has been on display, as head coach George Zaninovich has deployed the 5-foot-10 freshman late in games in hopes that he catches fire and ignites a quick comeback.

Perhaps the most impressive freshman in the league this season, Nunez has consistently been among the Black Tornado's top scorers, using his impressive frame and outside shooting ability to make an early impact in the Southwest Conference. Also a terrific ball-handler and shot creator at 6-foot-2, Nunez possesses a staggering combination of skill and composure for his age and size.

Making a number of starts during his first season as a Wolverine has been Giles, who can handle the ball and get to the rim at a high level for his age. With explosive quickness and solid feel for the game, he's certainly a guard that could blossom into one of the league's top playmakers in the future.
