How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

High energy ball handler that sees the court, passes well, and is a lock down defender. An efficient shooter that can score from the 3point, mid range and is a strong finisher at the rim.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

A positive leader on the court that brings good energy and leads by example...always uplifting teammates and setting a competitive tone.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

A member of Eugene Elite Basketball Club that helps fundraise for athletic scholarships for travel ball. Honor roll student. Black Student Union participant.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Basketball has taught many life skills...how to be a leader, communication, team work, confidence and how to control my emotions.

What type of college are you looking for?

Looking for a college that is a good fit both academically and athletically. I want to be in an environment where I can grow and mature to reach my goals of playing in the NBA!

The NW Big Stage was our first extended look at Giles and we came away extremely imperssed – enough to say that he’s one of the top point guards in the Class of 2029 but is a little slept on since he’s down in Eugene. Good quickness off the dribble from the rising sophomore and he consistently made good decisions with the ball both in the halfcourt and in transition. He shot the ball well from the mid-range and from distance and finished with team highs of 21 points and 7 assists in a win over South Salem.

With explosive quickness and solid feel for the game, he’s certainly a guard that could blossom into one of the league’s top playmakers in the future.
