The NW Big Stage was our first extended look at Giles and we came away extremely imperssed – enough to say that he’s one of the top point guards in the Class of 2029 but is a little slept on since he’s down in Eugene. Good quickness off the dribble from the rising sophomore and he consistently made good decisions with the ball both in the halfcourt and in transition. He shot the ball well from the mid-range and from distance and finished with team highs of 21 points and 7 assists in a win over South Salem.

Making a number of starts during his first season as a Wolverine has been Giles, who can handle the ball and get to the rim at a high level for his age. With explosive quickness and solid feel for the game, he’s certainly a guard that could blossom into one of the league’s top playmakers in the future.
