2026 PH Oregon Sophomore ID Camp - Team Three Scouting Report

The PrepHoops Oregon Sophomore ID Camp took place on Sunday and this week, we will take a look at our scouting notes for each individual roster, breaking down this huge crop of talent from around the Pacific Northwest, player-by-player. Here's a look at Team Three.   Scouting Reports contributed by Lorenzo Leaks    One of the fastest guys from baseline to baseline in the event with the basketball or without. Very talented using his speed to blow by an entire team of defenders for coast-to-coast scoring in every game. He showed he could score from a variety of spots on the floor (3-point, mid-range, floaters, layup package, etc.) and most importantly he also showed he could convert his defensive talents into points as well by generating steals with his good lateral footwork and quick first step.     Good all-around player with good physical size, strength, and height to complement his “Point-Forward” ability to bring the ball up the court at his position. He runs the floor and “General forward” when facilitating an assist to his teammate in transition and/or half-court. Extremely solid rebounder on both ends of the floor. Can stretch the floor and knock down the three-pointer; has a nice high-post mid-range jumper. Good pump fake when necessary to play through contact for interior points in the paint. Has a nice touch off the backboard. Defensive lateral footwork will improve over the next few seasons, as will his shot-blocking talents which he showed flashes of.     Played decently in every game, displayed his offensive talents and ability to play well in the “Pick n Row” scenarios, knocking down three pointers, mid-range, drives to the basket, and getting his forwards involved in the game during these sets. He scored double figures in a few games, distributed some good passes in transition and half court play. One of his assets in this event was his desire and commitment to play defense, battling to force numerous turnovers, even diving to the floor for hustle plays, and also had a few rebounds.     A strong physical guard with quick feet and hands. Displayed good court vision and the ability to facilitate when he wanted to with full awareness of everything going on on the court. He competes, and has the ability to drive (will) himself to the basket versus decent defenders and contact to score and/or get a fouled on the play. He has a decent shooting range, and rocker step, step back three pointer.     A really talented player in the open court, has quick feet, capable of doing some damage in the transition game using his speed to get downhill on his scoring moves. Moves well without the basketball directly in his hands to find scoring opportunities as a slasher, has deceptive strength to play through some contact, he knocked down a few jumpshots, can defend on the perimeter defensively and also get you a few rebounds per game. Has a quick first step & shooting release.     Can bring the basketball up the court as a “combo guard/wing, this “Left-handed guard has a nice hesitation attack move to get downhill. He sets screens, fast in transition games, and opens the floor as a slasher's skillset with three-point range. Rebounds from this position on both ends of the floor, facilitating opportunities when they present themself. Defensively he contests shots.     A growing and developing player who is learning how to compete at this level moves well without the basketball, hustles, scores on direct cuts to the basket. Can put the ball on the floor, a slasher who is going to get better and better and become polished with game reps and experience.     A decent athlete, nice defender with good lateral footwork, a good physical player and rebounder on both ends of the floor. Can bring the ball up the court to display his “Point forward” skills. Has 3-point range as well. Physical enough to compete defensively against multiple positions.     A solid all around player who fits the team concept, shares the basketball, moves well without the basketball, sets screens, rebounds, plays defense, runs the lanes, closes out on defenders, boxes out, fast in transition with the basketball, a slashing forward/guard who can make the three point shot as well.
