A strong physical guard with quick feet and hands. Displayed good court vision and the ability to facilitate when he wanted to with full awareness of everything going on on the court. He competes, and has the ability to drive (will) himself to the basket versus decent defenders and contact to score and/or get a fouled on the play. He has a decent shooting range, and rocker step, step back three pointer.
One of the top snipers from the perimeter we saw over the weekend at any age group at the Finale in the Valley was Algayyim. If teams gave the rising Mountainside sophomore wing any kind of space, he was going to make them pay and in a pool play win over Bridgetown Ballers when the defense went zone Algayyim simply nailed shot after shot. Far from a standstill shooter, he also had some scores in transition and did a great job with his decision making moving the ball.
