Finale in the Valley – 2029 More Top Performers

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Finale in the Valley from Flight Club Tournaments took place this past weekend and we had the opportunity to drop by Clackamas High School to watch a number of games from the Varsity, 17U/16U, and 15U divisions. Pressure Elite captured the Varsity title, McCaffrey won 16U, and City Red took home the trophy in 15U. The rising Sunset sophomore was steady with the basketball, looking for opportunities to set up teammates for scores first and then his own shot, whether it was deep or from mid-range pull-ups. If teams gave the rising Mountainside sophomore wing any kind of space, he was going to make them pay and in a pool play win over Bridgetown Ballers when the defense went zone Algayyim simply nailed shot after shot. So when the shot may not have been falling for the rising Beaverton sophomore, he was able to contribute in other ways especially with his work on the boards and on the defensive end. The point guard found holes in the defense to get to the basket for scores or drawing fouls and was also sharp with his pull-up jumper. Despite his smaller size the rising freshman played with confidence and maturity beyond his years.
