#852 – Dangerous scorer with solid size as a two-guard. Shot the three well in spot-up and off-dribble scenarios, using simple but effective moves to get to his spots, where he is a deadly shot-maker. He glides across the floor with a bit of a spring in his step, which punishes defenses over time. Defensively, he used his length to disrupt plays and was one of his team’s most consistent rebounders.

The most explosive performance we saw on Saturday belonged to Miller, who amazingly made a 37-point game look effortless. The rising sophomore was absolutely on fire from three-point range, hitting them off the catch and on the move, eventually sinking nine daggers from deep. The wing glided to the hoop on drives to the hoop and was super high percentage getting it done in transition. Wherever he eventually suits up in the fall, there’s no question Miller will be an all-league candidate type fo player.

Representation of the Class of 2029 in the Top Ten also comes from further down I-5 in the state and Miller is a prime example. The athletic guard shone as a true freshman at South Medford, averaging 10.5 points and 3.2 rebounds on a balanced Panthers squad. He’s since transferred to West Albany where he’s already establishing himself as a prime scoring option by putting up some huge numbers.

Also a Panther, Miller hasn’t quite had the ball in his hands as much as Pacheco, but his role as one of South Medford’s handful of bucket-getters has made his potential equally apparent. At 6-foot-2, Miller possesses great size for a freshman guard and is already a proven scorer from all three levels, showing off his ability to knock down jump shots from anywhere on the floor so far this season.  

Coming up from Medford, Miller opened some eyes with his high energy style of play. He was extremely aggressive offensively looking for his own shot whether it was launching from the perimeter or attacking the basket, but the motor wasn’t limited to scoring attempts. The 6-foot-2 wing was all over the floor rebounding and defending the basketball, where he was constantly on the hunt for steals and blocked shots. (JT)
