Expert Analysis
Jed Tai | Prep Hoops Scout
Arguably the top run-and-jump athlete in the gym on Sunday, Aulakh put together quite the game in leading the Southwest Conference to their 7th place game win. Using his jaw-dropping leaping ability, the former North Medford and Rosemary Anderson Prep standout threw down a couple of jams but also showed great touch from the perimeter by knocking down three threes, finishing with a game-high 27 points. He’s currently considering a preferred walk-on spot at Oregon.

Big-time athlete who got up for several dunks and did a great job leaking out on defensive rebounds to get ahead in transition. He’s the kind of athlete who seems to glide across the court and then kick it into that next gear to blow by defenders or rise up to make a play at the rim. Also showed some solid shooting from deep.

Aulakh was one of the best run-and-jump athletes at the Expo. Constantly moving, the 6-foot-5 wing flew down the court in transition for easy dunks but also showed patience in half-court settings, either taking his man off the dribble or showing off a smooth shot from beyond the arc. His athletic potential and upside were of intrigue to the college coaches in attendance. Formerly at North Medford, Aulakh is now at Rosemary Anderson Prep.
