[player_tooltip player_id='2531961' first='Amarion' last='Smith-Holley'] (Peoria Richwoods)

We were aggressive with Smith-Holley's initial ranking after a strong showing at the Prep Hoops Freshman camp followed by an excellent freshman season. Turns out we were still too low on him as he bumps up to #3. Absolutely electric scorer who has been dominant this spring for the [program_tooltip program_id='2452456' first='Mac' last='Irvin Fire']. In Nike EYBL play he has averaged 19.6 PPG, 3.1 APG, 3.0 RPG, and 1.9 SPG while shooting 53.6% from the field and 45.7% from three. Showcasing he is more than just an elite three level scorer stuffing the stat sheet. Speed, ball handling, and burst to the rim. High-major talent.

[player_tooltip player_id='2531962' first='Amir' last='Tucker'] (St. Ignatius)

Tucker played mostly on the sophomore team last year seeing some spot varsity minutes. This spring he has been excellent for [program_tooltip program_id='2414566' first='Mike' last='Glennon Elite'] playing up on the 16U level. Tucker has a long and rangy frame where he is going to continue to grow. His instincts and feel for the game are advanced for his age. Slick ball handler, plays with good pace, and can get others involved making sound decisions. As a scorer he has a fluid long ball along with being able to use his quickness off the bounce for scores in the paint. Crisp mid-range game as well pulling up on a dime. Pesky defender that racks up a couple steals a game.

[player_tooltip player_id='2531970' first='Ben' last='Ojala'] (Evanston)

Ojala saw minutes as a freshman for an Evanston squad which made it all the way to state. This spring he has continued that progress playing with [program_tooltip program_id='2076459' first='Breakaway' last='']. His biggest strength is his ability to shoot the basketball. Feathery touch from the perimeter both pulling up and off the catch. When off the ball he moves really well to get open. Has the handles and improving court vision to play as a lead guard.

[player_tooltip player_id='2385372' first='Noah' last='Corro'] (St. Laurence)

Corro took a big step forward this spring with Kevon Looney Power 5. We saw him more of a two guard in the times we had previously seen him, but he showcased the ability to be the lead guard for a high level team. Distributes the ball well along with using his smooth handles to get where he needs. Clean jump shooter from two and three along with quickness defensively.

[player_tooltip player_id='2467517' first='Darrius' last='Hawkins'] (Homewood Flossmoor)

Hawkins played a spark plug role for a HF team that was one of the best in the state a year ago. He is a compact lefty floor general that is explosive in the open floor getting to the rim in both transition and the half court. Solid mid-range shooter and is quickly improving as a passer with good reads in ball screen action. Really like the pitbull mentality he brings at the point of attack on the defensive end. For Team Herro this spring he has averaged 12.5 PPG, 3.4 APG, 2.6 RPG, and 2.4 SPG.

[player_tooltip player_id='2531979' first='CJ' last='Pittman'] (Walter Payton)

Pittman is a strong bodied guard from Payton that got the rock in his hands early in his career and excelled. Like his combination of tight handles, strength, and finishing ability in the paint. Pure bucket getter!
