The high school season has ended and now we are moving into the spring travel team circuit where we will be covering the Prep Hoops Circuit! Before all that we wanted to look back at the 2027 wing stock risers in our Market Correction Update who elevated their ranking the last few months.

[player_tooltip player_id='3430180' first='Brendan' last='Petty'] (Morton)

Petty has flown up the board with a monster second half of the season. What stands out about him is his combination of size, skill, and athleticism. Can play with the ball in his hands or off as a spot up shooter. Like his playmaking instincts along with being a connective passer. Impacts the game in a number of ways and is primed to continue to move up the board.

[player_tooltip player_id='3427255' first='Jake' last='Nawrot'] (Hersey)

Nawrot will never play a minute of college hoops as he is one of the premier QBs in the country in 2027. His hoops game deserves recognition however with him playing a key role in Hersey's playoff run. Skilled combo forward that can really pass for his size. Face up ability handling and shooting the ball along with displaying toughness on the glass.

[player_tooltip player_id='2839900' first='Joseph' last='Lubbe'] (York)

Lubbe was a monster in the super sectional upset for York against St. Ignatius. The skilled shooting guard had 20 points in that contest and was his coming out party for Chicago basketball fans.

[player_tooltip player_id='2837283' first='Terriyon' last='Webster'] (East St. Louis)

Webster shined late in the season for East St. Louis as a three and D wing with plus athleticism. As a junior he averaged 9.1 points per game while shooting 36 percent from distance. High level defender who proved he could switch on to multiple positions.

[player_tooltip player_id='2411671' first='Amari' last='Kennedy'] (Marshall)

Kennedy came off the bench for Marshall, but the rangy and athletic wing really pops. Averaged 5 points and 4.5 rebounds a game as a junior. Brought a major spark in the semis at state rebounding in traffic, crisp mid-range pull up game, and showing off a sweet floater as he dropped 8 points and grabbed 8 boards.

[player_tooltip player_id='2532341' first='Keyae' last='Lacy'] (Simeon)

Lacy is going to be a big piece for the [program_tooltip program_id='2076046' first='Wolverines' last=''] heading into next season. Athletic shooting guard that is wired to score. Simeon will need him to be a go to scorer!

[player_tooltip player_id='2751229' first='Michael' last='Organ'] (Centralia)

Organ is among the more under appreciated shooters in the state. Junior is lights out off the catch consistently nailing long balls spotting up and off movement.

[player_tooltip player_id='2632068' first='Nick' last='King'] (Goreville)

King was the force behind Goreville's run to the state title game in 1A. At 6'1” he can handle it with either hand in the half court along with transition. Capable three point shooter. Skilled playing off the ball moving to get open along with being a connective passer. Gritty rebounder.
