2027 Rankings: 9 Western Washington Sleepers

Check out some players ranked 50 and below who are worth taking a look at this summer. These guys showed some great glimpses of what they can do last winter and this spring, and could be a handful of risers this winter with more minutes and bigger roles. Here are some sleepers from Western Washington.    Showed up in some big spots last winter for Lake Washington, knocking down the outside shot and showing he's not afraid of the moment. Has a very good stroke from 3-point range, some ability to be a primary ballhandler, and showed the patience and presence to play off two and stay under control on drives.     Super quick guard who has a lot of potential at the point with his ability to play with pace and defend his position. He's a very good athlete, works hard on both ends, and is able to get some pretty consistent penetration with his quick bursts.     Good athlete who can contribute across multiple fronts - rebounding, slashing, 3-point shooting. Has really improved as a floor stretcher and can be a very determined finisher around the rim, working for extra possessions and getting shots up through contact. Should have an expanded role with Kentwood this winter.     Big time athlete who is excellent in space, attacking downhill, and can finish with strength and some finesse. Has shown good feet to dance through traffic, the 3-point shot is getting better, and he's a guy who can make plays from the help side and contribute on the glass. Averaged 13.9 PPG and 6.4 RPG last season.     He's a long guard/wing who has a lot of potential as a shooter. Can use that length to make an impact around the rim too with some rim defense and can be a key rebounder coming in from the perimeter. Lot of potential and could get some more opportunities this winter.     Has good size for a guy who was asked to do a fair amount of ballhandling last winter at Curtis. Can use his size to get into gaps, create some space, and has shown the vision to find cutters off his attacks to add some valuable playmaking. Hits the three at a good enough clip to keep defenders honest and should get plenty of opportunities next winter for the Vikings.     Had a solid sophomore season at Selah and has continued to show growth this spring with South Sound Roots. Has a very smooth jumper that he can cash in from different levels. Plays with a pretty good base to knock in shots off the catch or working off pivots closer in. Wouldn't be surprised to see him take another big step forward this winter.     He's an athletic guard with some big length who con cover a lot of ground with the ball and on the defensive end. Looks very comfortable defending on the ball, has pretty quick feet and that long wingspan can give ballhandlers fits. Likes to attack the paint but has been improving the outside shot and could be in line for a lot more minutes this winter.     Just a pure shooter who can knock down the outside shot at a high rate. Has to be accounted for on the perimeter any time he's on the floor and has been making growth as a ballhandler. Should get a lot more opportunities at Stadium this year and could really boost his stock with some continued growth showing he can bring the ball down and handle pressure.
