Kaylor continues to impress me more and more this spring. He seems to have grown very confident in his abilities, and his physical strength and maturity are a big part of that. He is strong on the dribble, can hit shots from each level, has improved his decision-making, and just does a lot of things well. His awareness has continued to improve, but he’s also become a very edgy competitor who is always thinking “next play.”
This skilled guard excels at managing the offense, demonstrating impressive ball-handling abilities that allow him to find open teammates effortlessly. His quick decision-making and sharp court vision make him a constant playmaking threat. With the ability to break down defenders using smooth dribble moves, he creates scoring opportunities both for himself and his teammates. Additionally, his proficiency in hitting deep shots when left open keeps defenders on high alert, ensuring they can’t afford to give him space.
Has good size for a guy who was asked to do a fair amount of ballhandling last winter at Curtis. Can use his size to get into gaps, create some space, and has shown the vision to find cutters off his attacks to add some valuable playmaking. Hits the three at a good enough clip to keep defenders honest and should get plenty of opportunities next winter for the Vikings.
Noah had a solid season last year, contributing in big ways with the minutes that he was given. He should be poised for a bigger role for the team and is ready for more minutes. He attacks well down-hill and can finish smoothly with both hands. His deep shot is solid, having a high release point and a consistent shot from everywhere.
Kaylor came out of the gates firing in their game against Kelowna (BC). He scored in the paint and at the rim with both hands, shot well from 3-point, and made some controlled decisions in the paint to score off of two feet. He was aggressive and ready to shoot and should play a sizeable role offensively for the Vikings this winter.
Kaylor is a guy finding more and more confidence on the floor, looking to create by attacking gaps off the bounce but also showing some more consistency from 3-point range recently. He gets to two feet pretty well and has shown he can be a solid secondary playmaker.
Played a key role for Curtis this past year picking up big minutes on both ends of the floor. He has a bit of an all-around game, showing up with his 3-point shot in certain games and showing he can convert through contact at the rim as well. He plays hard when he’s out there and also showed some ability to be a difference-maker on the defensive end.
