2026 Rankings: Athletes stepping up

<p>With the 2026 rankings being fully updated this week as we head into the summer and the rest of AAU in July. Here are some players who I think have been stepping up. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2173114' first='Ohmono' last='Bomet'] </strong>- 2026 - Garfield HS - Ohmono is a fantastic athlete who has great speed and agility on the court. His defensive game stands out when watching him, he makes big plays and provides energy for his teammates. He plays the game at a high level, displaying a high overall basketball IQ. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1927274' first='Reed' last='Nagel']</strong> - 2026 - Glacier Peak HS - Reed is poised for a bigger role on the offensive end and I believe he is ready for it and will see a big step in his game. He shoots the ball from deep at a high percentage and knows when to take the shot or when to make the extra pass His basketball IQ continues to grow and grow which leads to many easy buckets for himself and his teammates. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2021612' first='Jackson' last='Skaggs']</strong> - 2026 - Bellevue HS - Jackson is a lethal three point shooter, having a quick release and is always ready to let it fly. Skaggs plays tough defense, being able to stay in front of opposing players with ease. He is going to be a key part of Bellevue's offense next season and I think could keep rising in these 2026 rankings. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2021623' first='Maximus' last='Christiansen'] </strong>- 2026 - Kamiak HS - The lefty from Kamiak continues to improve each year on both ends of the court. He stuffs the stat sheet nicely, hustling for rebounds and dishing passes to open teammates often. Defensively, he causes havoc and creates turnovers for his team which often leads to easy buckets. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2622822' first='Caleb' last='Greenland'] </strong>- 2026 - Lakewood HS - Caleb is an outstanding shooter from deep, being one of the top ones in the entire Northwest Conference. He handles the ball well and is able to attack efficiently with both hands, absorbing contact in the paint and still being able to get the finish. Greenland plays tough defense too, being able to guard multiple positions. </p>
