The Summer AAU circuit is in full swing as we reach Memorial Day. Numerous prospects from New Mexico have excelled against competition from all over the country. Here's our latest installment on who's been doing well (players listed in alphabetical order):

[player_tooltip player_id='1717249' first='Hayden' last='Bruhn'], Logan: Bruhn, a rising senior, has been flashing the physical and decision-making skills for D1 New Mexico that boosted Logan to the Class 1A state championship in March. He has been described as “a good decision maker who has solid vision for his teammates and can score in the post.” Bruhn is also a very good rebounder and has the ability to bring the ball up the court. The 6-foot-7 Bruhn averaged 19.3 points and 11.6 rebounds per game for the Longhorns in 2024-25.

Isaac Dinning, Farmington: The 6-foot-2 Dinning was a major contributor to Farmington in 2024-25 as a junior. He's preparing for his senior campaign by playing on the summer AAU circuit. Impressed scouts and onlookers at the recent RecruitLook event in Dallas.

Jawaan Jackson, Taos: In one three-game span at a tournament in Fort Collins, the 6-foot-10 Jackson scored 35 points, grabbed 30 rebounds and blocked 25 shots. Jackson has long arms and does a great job putting pressure eon the offense in the lane and around the basket.

He averaged 23.5 points per game as a sophomore for the Cougars and enters the 2025-26 campaign on pace to score over 2,500 points in his career.
