<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='3573862' first='Pablo' last='Aguilar'], Belen</strong>: Aguilar led a balanced Belen scoring attack by averaging about 11 points per game. The Eagles won 18 games and earned a berth in the Class 4A state tournament. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='3573732' first='Braden' last='Chavez'], West Las Vegas</strong>: Competing in unquestionably the strongest 3A district, battle tested WLV earned an at-large berth in the state tournament and nearly toppled the No. 2 seed before falling in overtime. Chavez helped lead the Dons all season long by averaging about 13 points and 7 rebounds per game. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2381046' first='Christian' last='Covarrubia'], Mayfield</strong>: Mayfield hoops experienced a renaissance this season (tied for most wins since 2013-14) with Covarrubia helping show the way. He averaged 8.7 points and 2.2 rebounds per game. He was second on Mayfield with 42 3-pointers and connected on 84 percent of his free throws. Three of Mayfield's top five scorers return in 2026-27.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='3574029' first='Vinicius' last='Diaz'], NMMI</strong>: The 6-foot-6, 210-pound Diaz emerged as a reliable big man for the Colts in 2025-26. He averaged close to 10 points, 8 rebounds and 2 blocks per game. After winning 17 games in 2025-26, NMMI returns four of its top six scorers next season.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='3573922' first='Anthony' last='Eres'], Centennial</strong>: Along with fellow Hawk <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='3574005' first='Ruiz' last='Laborin']</strong>, the quarterback on the Centennial football team, Eres joins the rankings after averaging 9.3 points in 2025-26. He shot a respectable 36 percent from 3-point range and buried 40 3-pointers, second most on Centennial. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='3573703' first='Zefferino' last='Flores'], Wingate</strong>: Flores led Wingate to a berth in the Class 3A playoffs by averaging 17.0 points per game and scoring over 450 points for the Bears. Flores was an outstanding FT shooter. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='3551269' first='Gustas' last='Komparskas'], Menaul</strong>: Komparskas helped lead Menaul to 22 wins and a spot in the Class 2A state tournament quarterfinals. He averaged over 12 points per game. He'll be the leader of the Panthers in 2025-26. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='3573739' first='Nathaniel' last='Peete'], Organ Mountain</strong>: The 6-foot-3 Peete averaged over 13 points and 4 rebounds per game for an Organ Mountain squad that won 16 games in a highly competitive District 5A-3. The Knights will be back next season as two of their three double digit scorers return.</p>
