Darius Steverson has some serious game. He flashes to get open off ball, and can splash in 3-pointers with ease. I also saw him run the floor and catch and alley oop. It was great to see that he can score in a variety of ways. He also utilized his athleticism on defense to cause turnovers. Look for him to continue to make a name for himself this spring and summer.

Effective making reads while handling the rock, this guard has repeatedly shown comfort making decisions out of the pick and roll. Possessing a high feel for the game, Steverson looks to pressure the rim whenever and however possible. With the ball, he looks to attack closeouts or pick apart his opponent through multiple combo moves. He can create openings without the ball too, actively utilizing give and go’s for backdoor cuts to the rim. Defensively, they show capabilities holding up against stronger guards. Dependable holding his position down low while remaining disciplined with his arms, their consistency without fouling has been noteworthy at the 15U level. Considering him playing up as a 2028, no doubt that Steverson is among the most intriguing up and coming prospects in the state.
