<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2833709' first='Dontrey' last='Callado'], Santa Fe Indian</strong>: One-half of one of the most dynamic brother duos in the state. Younger sibling [player_tooltip player_id='2839393' first='Taivian' last='Callado'] was named Class 3A First Team All-State, while Dontrey was named Second Team All-State. Both led SFIS to the Class 5A semifinals for the second straight season. The Braves should again be one of the top teams in Class 3A with the Brothers Callado returning in 2025-26. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2215933' first='Mateo' last='Hogan'], Sandia</strong>: On a team full of talented scorers and ball handlers, Hogan did the dirty underneath. He led the Matadors in rebounding with an average of over six rebounds per game. How good will Sandia be in 2026-27. They lose only two seniors off a team that reached the Class 5A semifinals. pow soon will </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2833891' first='Jordan' last='Holland'], Fort Sumner/House</strong>: The MVP of the Class 1A state tournament. Holland's elite post-season began when he scored 35 points against rival Logan in the District 1A-6 playoff game. Then he scored 18 points, grabbed 7 rebounds and dished out 10 assists in the tournament semifinals. He saved his best performance for last, though, when he tallied 31 points and made four 3-pointers in the title game against Logan. Fort Sumner/House returns virtually everybody in 2026-27. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2216957' first='Vicente' last='Ortiz'], East Mountain</strong>: The Timberwolves were the last unbeaten team in New Mexico largely due to Ortiz's ability to hit long-distance shots. Ortiz averaged 20.5 points and 3.3 rebounds per game. His 3-pointing shooting stood out as he connected on 93 3-pointers and made 42b percent of his attempts from beyond the arc. Long-distance ace. Second Team All-State honors in Class 3A. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2882841' first='Lyric' last='Soria'], Hobbs</strong>: One of the most improved players in Class 5A this past season. Nearly quadrupled his offensive output to 12.1 points per game. He buried 60 3-pointers for the Eagles and made 82 percent of his free throws. Scored 351 points for Hobbs. Also led the Eagles in assists.</p>
