Star NOVA Guards at The DeMatha Summer League

He has scored the ball at an elite level on all three levels with a high degree of difficulty. The variety of where his offense has come from has been really fun to watch. I love what Julian does as a facilitator, and he is a player that you trust to have the ball for a large portion of the game. SSSAS has had two outstanding bigs in which the offense has run through them the past few years. Akim is averaging the second most assists a game and is in the top 5 in steals. He is averaging a near triple-double and has been eye-popping. Akim has an elite first step and plays with a great motor. Johnny has continued his ascension dating back to last season, and he keeps getting better. Johnny is a little undersized as a two, but he is a lights-out shooter with nice quickness. Johnny can be effective off the ball and can create his own consistently. I also mentioned him as a guy who will take a big leap this summer and come into his senior season as one of the premier guards in NOVA. Messiah has been one of the best on-ball defenders at this event and has been relentless in picking guys up full court. The ball pressure Fairfax Christian has put on teams is part of why they're blowing teams out. Messiah is quick, and he gets by defenders consistently. He has a high IQ and passes well. He has great acceleration, and he is lethal in the open floor. Elijah finishes with both hands and has an elite mix of athleticism and craftiness. Elijah looks taller than he was last summer, and I think he will keep rising in the rankings. He is averaging 20 PPG for a Patriot team yet to lose in 3 games.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
