James Jr. had a strong showing for the weekend, including 18 points against The Family EYBL. Eric is at his best when he's attacking the rim and he's a violent dunker, even in traffic. When I was able to catch Eric on Sunday, he shot the ball very well from the perimeter as his [program_tooltip program_id='2229551' first='Moss' last='Elite'] team was trying to come back. A good weekend for the Green County guard.

McGillis started his weekend with a buzzer beating 3 to give his Ohio Champion team a win on Friday night and didn't seem to slow down. Athens shot the ball at a high level from range and exceled as a playmaker for his team. Champion has several NKY kids on it and the backcourt of McGillis and Lloyd Memorial's [player_tooltip player_id='2248846' first='Anthony' last='Blaackar'] is a nice duo.

Ashford also had a game winning 3 this weekend as he hit a deep 3 to advance to the Silver bracket championship game. In the title game Ashford was impressive with 26 points on 11/12 shooting and added several assists and steals. Malachi was electric in the open floor and got better over the course of the weekend.

Landon has a very solid all around game. He can play above the rim or step out and shoot it. Over the past couple of years, Blakey's wing skills and shooting have improved to make him a legitimate 3 man or stretch 4 at the next level. Definitely one of the true sleepers in this 2026 class, Landon could play at the low D1 level, in my opinion.
