PH Live: Sunday’s Premier Out of State Prospects

Prep Hoops Live finished out its' third and final day on Sunday. I was in Batavia catching all of 15U's action in what spanned out to be really competitive in multiple games. Let's go ahead and break down some of the top out of state guys that were in attendance and had premier performances on Sunday from the class of 2028.    Good sized frame that was running the floor at a solid pace in the first game of the day Sunday. Defensively moved his feet well with good stance and positioning. Hung around the rim consistently on shots to clean up the glass and battled well down low. Tallied an O board off a miss and made a nice put back showing his competitive nature. Made a spot up trey from well beyond the arc to go along with a few assists. Overall was just fundamentally pretty sound and helped team go 4-0 on the weekend.     Was a part of a dynamic duo in team's big win in the early morning Sunday game. Stands at 6'2 but plays with a lengthier presence. Found a really balanced rhythm throughout. Poured in 26 all in various ways. Multiple knock down catch and shoot 3s, went off the dribble to hit from midrange, and got to the cup on the base or through traffic on straight line drives. Had a big And1 and possesses soft touch on finishes. Shot it at a high clip and was competitively well balanced.       Caught the 1st game of the day on Sunday. Played a significant role in team's W. Had a team high 27 points. Well balanced game on both ends with a lot of upside. Offensively can attack the rim at different angles. Made a sweet spin move for an up and under lay in to go along with 3 3's. Knows how to space away after the pass for catch and shoot opportunities. Was a challenge to stay in front of as he drew a lot of contact from defenders to go to the stripe. Dove for loose balls on the floor, made the extra kickout, and took a big charge.     A versatile wing that really played with a motor and a lot of energy from the onset of the first game of the day on Sunday. Hit 3 3's off the bat and drove it hard into the lane consistently. Pretty quick first step with his handles. Ended the game with 22 points and 5 total 3's. Plays with an aggressive competitive tenacity. I liked his natural grit and hustle to get after each play. Is the second piece to a tough backcourt and fills his role appropriately as an important part of the puzzle.     A legit 6'4 point that has a mature developed skill set in his young career. Watched the early morning Sunday game where he scored game high 30 points. Was impressed with his dynamic handling and scoring abilities. Uses his speed and quickness with IQ to get defenders going full speed and then slow it down creating space for him to have control of the play. Vision was on point. Obviously can score in major ways but plays a team ball game. Has a solid big who takes on responsibilities around the bucket but is still able to help team's causes down low on the glass with his jumping abilities while rebounding it high. Overall, just looked comfortable, collected, and confident in a lot of facets. The best player overall I had the opportunity of seeing this weekend.     Has a strong solid frame at 6'4 and uses that to his advantage. Plays with a toughness demeanor outwilling opponent. Stuck with the play on both ends down low to fight and battle on the glass. Multiple O board and put backs for second chance conversions to give team extra spurts of energy. Has good hands. Can catch on the block and make a move on defender's shoulder or catch it in the transition phase to finish off passes from his guards. Battled out a tough hard fought win to end the day on Sunday giving team first place in their division.
