Who are the top prospects that attend the smallest high schools across the state! All of these prospects go to schools that have under 400 total students and have the ability to play at the next level!

[player_tooltip player_id='1552407' first='Luke' last='Blackford'] (Calvary)

Blackford has already committed to Illinois-Springfield. The wing has excellent scoring ability with crafty moves off the bounce and a lethal three point game.

[player_tooltip player_id='1552409' first='Gage' last='Peterson'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2383402' first='Jagger' last='Mayville'] (Waltonville)

One of the best duos in small school hoops! Peterson is a versatile inside/outside forward with good size and athleticism. Mayville is a wiry four man that scores with touch, has face up ability, and rebounds well.

[player_tooltip player_id='2874753' first='Bradey' last='Diehl'] (Christ Our Rock Lutheran)

Bouncy wing from southern Illinois that made noise with both his play and bright hair this summer!

[player_tooltip player_id='2823510' first='Nathaniel' last='Marlow'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2823628' first='Kylen' last='Moser'] (Webber)

Marlow is one of the best scorers in the state that many don't know about and Moser is his running mate!

[player_tooltip player_id='2872550' first='Brody' last='Bible'] (Stewardson-Strasburg)

Face up four man that proved this summer he can really stretch the floor as an excellent shooter.

[player_tooltip player_id='2387516' first='Connor' last='Brown'] (Steeleville)

Brown is a combo guard that brings leadership, toughness, and scoring to the table.

[player_tooltip player_id='2426366' first='Cooper' last='Knowles'] (Warsaw)

Knowles is perhaps the best prospect on this list. The uber bouncy post is a big time athlete that protects the rim, rebounds, and throws down big dunks.

[player_tooltip player_id='2383995' first='Braylen' last='Turner'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2751050' first='Ayden' last='Foley'] (Okawville)

Turner is a long and rangy guard that can play on an off the ball effectively while Foley is an emerging big man.

[player_tooltip player_id='1900158' first='Stephen' last='George'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2105369' first='Jacob' last='Thompson'] (St. Francis de Sales)

St. Francis de Sales has a really nice front court with George who brings the big body and rebounding while Thompson is more of an athlete that has added strength.

Nicholas King (Goreville)

King returns to one of the top small school teams in the state from last year.

[player_tooltip player_id='2334406' first='Kyle' last='Cooper'] (Woodlawn)

Cooper transferred from Waltonville and this sharp shooter will be the go to guy for Woodlawn.

[player_tooltip player_id='2569185' first='Bryce' last='Bohnhoff'] (Dietrich)

Really impressed with what we saw from Bohnhoff this summer as a skilled forward with sneaky pop!

[player_tooltip player_id='1874810' first='Jayden' last='Riley'], [player_tooltip player_id='2125654' first='Jordan' last='Purvis'], [player_tooltip player_id='2422336' first='Sean' last='Drynan'] (Yorkville Christian)

Riley is one of the best point guards in the state. He is a high level distributor who also can score at a great rate from all three levels. Purvis is an athletic guard while Drynan brings size and upside.

[player_tooltip player_id='2383056' first='Keenan' last='Griffith'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2823637' first='Brock' last='Fearday'] (Effingham St. Anthony)

Southern Illinois small school power will have a good inside/outside duo to build around in Griffith and Fearday

[player_tooltip player_id='2507312' first='Dominic' last='Boyd'] (Metro East Lutheran)

Boyd is now at Metro East Lutheran. The athletic two way wing impacts the game on both ends and best basketball is ahead of him.

Jack McNeff, [player_tooltip player_id='2963398' first='Bradley' last='Markert'], [player_tooltip player_id='2963420' first='Michael' last='Kassing'] (Brown County)

Really like this trio of 2027 and 2028 prospects we saw during June and feel they can make noise this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2531972' first='Bonheur' last='Balita'] (Lycee Francais de Chicago)

Strong bodied and athletic wing that flies under the radar, but the physical tools are certainly there for a sophomore.

[player_tooltip player_id='2962252' first='Zack' last='Persing'] (Carlyle)

Persing caught our attention this fall and should emerge for Carlyle during the year.

[player_tooltip player_id='2454169' first='Brad' last='Blackmon'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2125641' first='Jamier' last='Montgomery'] (Crane)

Blackmon and Montgomery are an underrated duo in the public league. Long and rangy defenders that can also each slash and knock in jumpers.

Tyjuan Hunter and [player_tooltip player_id='2372438' first='Jaiden' last='Simmons'] (Hope Academy)

Hunter is a lead guard that is a true floor general and winner that proved last March he can score at a high level. Simmons is a versatile forward that can impact on both ends.

[player_tooltip player_id='2481675' first='Jayden' last='Goff'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2481827' first='Noah' last='Wilson'] (Lawrenceville)

Goff is a sneaky forward who caught our attention over the summer along with Wilson.

[player_tooltip player_id='2383925' first='Dariontez' last='Monroe'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2832355' first='DJ' last='Hayes'] (Sparta)

This all southpaw backcourt is going to be a problem for southern Illinois teams with their speed, defense, and shot making.

[player_tooltip player_id='2962342' first='Ayden' last='Jensen'] (Tri-Valley)

Big man who has flown under the radar not really being seen during the summer, but is starting to create some buzz.

[player_tooltip player_id='1977254' first='Luke' last='Smith'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2323329' first='Kyle' last='Johnson'] (Althoff)

This duo returns from the state runners up in 2A last year. Smith is a combo guard that stuffs the stat sheet while Johnson is a bouncy four that is bursting with potential.

[player_tooltip player_id='2437681' first='Richie' last='Darr'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2411845' first='Karter' last='Krutsinger'] (Bishop McNamara)

These two are studs on the gridiron in the fall, but once hoops season comes around watch for them as Darr is a versatile face up power forward and Krutsinger is a tough two way wing.

[player_tooltip player_id='2963262' first='Gavin' last='Rahm'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2383992' first='Bryce' last='Haar'] (Trenton Wesclin)

Looking forward to seeing this duo as Rahm has some helium as a plus athlete that is a multi level scorer while Haar is a competitive bucket getter!

[player_tooltip player_id='1845359' first='Keison' last='Peoples'] (Bismarck Henning Rossville Alvin)

Peoples is a D2 commit who has been on the radar for a while. Smooth ball handler who can create for himself and others with the best of them in central Illinois.

[player_tooltip player_id='1552415' first='Maddox' last='Ritzel'] (Nashville)

Strong and skilled shooting guard from small school powerhouse program. One of the most consistent producers in the class as you can put him down for 20+ every night.

[player_tooltip player_id='2323278' first='Ty' last='Laur'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2383971' first='Tyler' last='McConnell'] (Pinckneyville)

One of the better front courts in the state is Southern Illinois commit Laur and top 20 junior McConnell. Laur has elite passing, rebounds in his area, and has touch around the hoop. McConnell is a big time athlete that plays above the rim throwing down dunk, snatching rebounds, and blocking shots. Also can stretch the floor.

Michael Thomas (Christ the King)

Thomas broke out this summer as a combo guard that should make noise in Chicago this season.
