I was really impressed with Hoffmaster's combination of strength and skill on Monday's college night. The 6-foot-3 junior is coming off a really nice season for Concord Academy and looks to be even stronger than he was a couple months ago. When he gets a head of steam going downhill, he keeps his line very well and is super under control; he does a great job getting to two feet in the paint and either finishing around the rim, hitting his pull up midrange jumper, or finding teammates for easy shots. He plays the right way and has an excellent motor that allows him to play hard consistently. Should be a great D3 player somewhere.

This was my first time watching Blue in person, and he wow'd me about as much as any other prospect. The 6-foot guard is so quick and changes directions/speeds super effectively; I didn't see anyone who could consistently stay in front of him, especially once he got some room in front of him to attack downhill. Once he got into the paint, he made great decisions and showcased some really nice body control for finishes at the rim. He even knocked down some threes. Blue has a really well-rounded game and should have a huge AAU season running the show for Middlesex Magic. He could be a scholarship guy.

I had only previously seen DeJohn play on Worcester Academy, which is obviously a far different environment than AAU. On that squad, he's mainly a shooter and closeouts attacker. But on Monday night, he showed some really impressive driving and creation ability; nobody could stop the 6-foot-5 combo-guard from getting to the front of the rim, and he made a bunch of really nice finishes once he got there. He also looks more athletic than he did on film during the high school season. He should have a big AAU season for Magic and be a key part of WA's title defense next season.

This was the first time I've seen Crosby play, and he wow'd me on Monday night with his ridiculous shooting performance. Maybe I just happened to be watching while he was hitting shots, but I must've seen him go about 8-8 from three on a variety of difficult shots both on and off the move. Once the defense overplayed his shot, he also had a really nice take to the hoop which he finished high off the glass with his left hand. I would be frankly shocked if he isn't a big part of St. George's team next season (where he'll be transferring to), at least as a consistent role player.

Bollin looks a lot bigger/stronger than he did last time I saw him in person, and it's paying dividends for him on the court. The 6-foot-7, big bodied forward was bullying his way inside the paint and using his toughness to get easy looks at the rim. He sometimes struggled to finish with touch around the rim, which is definitely something he could refine moving forward. He can also knock down three-point shots and plays good offensive basketball in terms of moving the ball. Will be interesting to see whether Bollin gets minutes for a talented Newman School team next season.
