The third EYBL Session of the Spring happened over the weekend in Kansas City and was the last stop for the circuit before Peach Jam in July. Of course, there was a strong presence of talent from the state of Indiana playing all weekend and I was able to get my eyes on a bunch of prospects. Here are a few notes on some players from Indiana that I thought was worth touching on.

One of the few instate underclassman that really stood out to me over the weekend was 6-foot-4 forward [player_tooltip player_id='2540063' first='Jaxson' last='Delaney'], who is running with [program_tooltip program_id='2076927' first='Indy' last='Heat'] 15u. Delaney comes from Cathedral High School and was one of the more consistent players in the post I watched over the weekend. He can make an impact on the block and did such a good in getting in good position for easy dump offs. Jumper is a little flat right now but you can easily see the potential in him being a true three level scorer at his size.

Another player for [program_tooltip program_id='2076927' first='Indy' last='Heat'] 15u that stood out to me was [player_tooltip player_id='2560351' first='Chandon' last='Gilbert'] out of Warren Central High School. When watching Gilbert, you can see he has such a smoothness to his game with not forcing anything and the letting the game come to him. He used his length and athletic ability very well as a scorer. Showed a nice baseline jumper and ability to absorb the contact and score.

The junior guard out of Plainfield High School has been making waves this spring for [program_tooltip program_id='2076927' first='Indy' last='Heat'] 16u being one of the players has stood out in the EYBL Circuit. I got another chance to watch him this weekend at the Kansas City session and was one again so impressed with his microwave scoring ability. He is such a tough bucket getter and a player that can legit change the pace of a game at a moment's notice. His on ball skills and true three-level scoring has caught a lot of people's eyes this spring.

Over at the EYCL circuit I got a chance to watch Bates Fundamentals 17u which had a few guys that stood out to me. One of those guys was 6-foot-3 wing [player_tooltip player_id='1561002' first='Jarvis' last='Tolbert Jr'] out of South Bend Adams. For his length, really liked the way he handled the ball and was able to take plays with the ball in his hand. He is a strong wing that is just relentless on the drive.

One of the under-the-radar names that appeared for Bates Fundaments 17u this weekend comes from Thrival Academy, [player_tooltip player_id='1988136' first='Terrencio' last='Davis Jr.'] While on the shorter end, Davis Jr. is a lightening quick guard that can be a playmaker on the ball. He is the type of guard that can control the pace of a game with his shiftiness and ability to attack the lane with legit speed. He showed he can score in the lane and a nice step-back three.

The last player on Bates Fundamentals 17u that stood out to me is [player_tooltip player_id='2218634' first='Payton' last='Rhinehart'] out of Homestead High School. What stood out to me with Rhinehart is his high motor and athleticism. When wanting him, he gives out true 3-and-D potential with toughness on both ends to back it up. Very quick first step in the lane but can also shoot it behind the arc.
