Prep Hoops Indiana had boots on the ground coverage throughout the weekend in Fort Wayne for the annual Bill Hensley Memorial Run N Slam. This event is always the premier recruiting and evaluation event of the spring and that certainly was the case again this year. We really value the opportunity to see so many teams from the Hoosier state, from across several different shoe/independent circuits, come together to play in one event. Over the next few days we will be pumping a lot of content from the Run N Slam. In this article let's take a look at some of the most impressive under-the-radar playmakers from the weekend.

Bloomington High School South has a way of producing productive, high IQ point guards. Clark appears to be the next in line. The 5'11" floor general averaged 12.3 points and 2.9 assists per game while shooting 52.7% from three-point range. His playmaking ability was on display on Sunday afternoon for [program_tooltip program_id='2400000' first='Indiana' last='Elite Team Indiana'] has he consistently set up his talented teammates in the half court.

Cooper averaged 8.4 points and 3.0 assists per game as a junior at Gary West Side High School and shot 36.0% from three-point range. Over the weekend, the talented 6'1" guard for [program_tooltip program_id='2399422' first='Darius' last='Garland Elite'] displayed his all-around playmaking ability with a tough turnaround jump shots and a pull-up three-pointer along with a couple of excellent dimes for his teammates while we were watching. One to keep an eye on going into the summer.

There are different types of playmaking, but at its root is being able to create something out of nothing. Some guys do that by drawing help and making great passes to open teammates. Green is certainly capable of doing that, but his playmaking streak really comes as a scorer. He is a very talented shot-creator and jump shooter and those skills were on display throughout the Bill Hensley Memorial Run N Slam.

This [program_tooltip program_id='2228160' first='OPS' last=''] - UA Rise 16u team had a lot of success over the weekend at the Bill Hensley Memorial Run N Slam and really caught the attention of those in attendance. We've written about a couple of their talented prospects already, but now wanted to give some shine to Jordan Jr. from Fort Wayne South Side High School. The smaller point guard was excellent at getting his way to the rim and finishing in creative ways against size. He also set up his teammates well for a lot of scoring opportunities.

A 6'1" guard from Trinity Luthern, Lang has proven himself as a big time scorer and one of the best shooters in southern Indiana. However, while playing with Indiana Elite Central, he takes over more of a true ball handling and playmaking role. His combination of shooting ability and downhill passing make it very difficult for opposing defenses. Lang averaged 7.2 points and a team-leading 2.8 assists per game.

There is no arguing with the physical and athletic tools of this Chesterton High School. He has the requisite length to be a two-way menace on the perimeter, but offensively he stood out with his downhill playmaking ability throughout the weekend for Region Force 17u. Watts has a burst of explosiveness that he can tap into in order to go lay it up or draw help and dish to an open teammate.
