He corrals just about every loose ball and rebound in his general vicinity. Jones sets solid screens and displays correct positioning in both the high and low post. He has a soft touch around the basket and can go both directions with the basketball. He is an incredibly strong athlete, which helps him easily discard defenders as he muscles his way inside. Macken also plays defense with that same level of intensity, bothering opposing ball-handlers from the opening tip to the final buzzer. He draws a lot of fouls, which can create match-up issues for opponents. He's very poised as a ball-handler/playmaker and is hard to speed up. The lead guard for Minnesota Hoop Troop keeps his eyes up as he dances up court, looking for open teammates. During the game I saw, he made multiple full-court outlet passes to break a press. Ecker does well in drive-n-kick scenarios, ball-screen action, and in transition. He runs the floor well, always looking for easy transition scores. Buhl is hard to stop when attacking the paint downhill and finishes exceptionally well through contact. He's an active defender, controlling the pain and blocking plenty of shots. However, he can switch out onto the perimeter and guard smaller players when needed. On offense, he's a stretch big who can catch fire from beyond the arc easily.
