Prep Hoops The Stage – Ramsey’s Friday Night Standout

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The grassroots season is officially underway and we hit the ground running on the Prep Hoops Circuit with "The Stage" at The Farmers Bank Fieldhouse in Lebanon. Three rounds of games were played on Friday night to kickstart the weekend before a full Saturday and Sunday of action. We had a team full of our best scouts from throughout the Midwest in the gym on Friday night to help provide the best coverage possible and that will continue to be the standard throughout the weekend. Fresh off of averaging 9.2 points and 3.6 rebounds per game as a freshman at Anderson, the 6'4" wing showcased his elite ability to get to the rim off of the dribble and finish up above the defense. The 6'4" forward was a big part of the Shelby Stars 15u squad pulling out a hard fought 73-72 victory over a good Indiana's Finest 15u team. The 6'1" point guard scored 17 points to lead his team to victory. Jansons was just tall though. This prospect from Oswego displayed good hands and feet, especially for a young prospect at his size. However, despite losing 68-43, Otten stood out scoring 23 points. Schrage had an excellent stretch in the second half that included a pick-and-pop three-point shot and a couple of interior finishes where he utilized his size and strength.
