In the game that lived up to the hype, it was Plainfield that improved to 15-1 with their 65-62 win over the Wildcats. DePaul signee [player_tooltip player_id='1561513' first='Noah' last='Smith'] led Plainfield with 29 points with junior guard [player_tooltip player_id='2267048' first='Harper' last='Baker-Lands'] adding 18 points. The other standout player for Plainfield was senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1560946' first='Landon' last='Gilliatt'] breaking the all-time career record for assists at Plainfield High School while also adding 10 points.
