showed a lot of ability on the offensive end in the first time I got to see him play. Fluid athlete with lots of defensive upside. Capable of guarding multiple positions. He’s a good rebounder on the defensive end with the ability to push in transition. In the half court, he was comfortable playing inside and out. Smooth stroke from the perimeter where he knocked down multiple 3’s. Showed he was capable of putting the ball on the floor and getting to the basket. Also showed his activity off the ball where he made some really nice cuts and finished at the rim.

There is a high level of versatility to Carmichael’s game. The 6’2″ wing from White River Valley High School first stood out in 3-on-3 play making a deep three-point shot and showcasing some perimeter skill. Then, in 5-on-5 action, Carmichael used his size to score around the basket which included a tough left-handed finish. His inside-outside game was really impressive and that versatility will be a staple of his game in the years to come.
