This was the second straight weekend that Baker stood out for Indiana Reign Supreme 16u. The 5'10" point guard from Greenwood Christian Academy was excellent at The Stage and followed it up with a strong weekend at the Chi-Town Tip Off helping lead his team to a 3-1 record. Baker is a high IQ guard with good ball-handling ability, excellent floor vision, and some toughness as an on-ball defender. He is the head of the snake for what Indiana Reign Supreme does and that has led to a good deal of winning so far this spring.

This is a very genuine compliment, but Daniels is like an annoying gnat when guarding on the ball. He is so quick, plays so hard, and is just always there in front of you as you try to initiate offense. Daniels is a good ball handler and offensive facilitator as well, but what he brings to the table as a pesky on-ball defender is his greatest strength right now. With the graduation of a couple of starting guards, expect to see Daniels blossom into a larger role for the Fighting Irish next high school season.

Indiana Reign Supreme 16u was the only purely Indiana team at the event this past weekend. Naturally, that drew me to this group a couple of times even though I had seen them play already the previous weekend at The Stage as well. Garner turned in a dominant stretch when I first got over to their court on Saturday and continued to play well throughout the weekend leading his team to a 3-1 record. The 6'2" guard from South Putnam High School is very versatile. His outside shot looks good, but he was especially effective slicing his way to the basket off of the dribble and finishing around the rim with either hand. Garner was active on the glass as well. Intriguing long-term prospect to keep an eye on.

A Top 10 prospect in Indiana's Class of 2027, King really stood out while suiting up for Mac Irvin Fire 16u at the Chi-Town Tip Off. The 6'2" guard's blend of physicality and athleticism is what makes him so attractive to college coaches. He can bully his way through contact from the perimeter, but then has the explosiveness to evaluate and finish at the end of his drives. Fresh off of helping lead South Bend St. Joseph to a Class 3A State Championship two weekends ago, King was among the best Class of 2027 prospects in the gym this past weekend. He has a big spring and summer coming up and college programs should start taking notice now.

Woods flew under-the-radar in Indiana bit this season after transferring in from the Chicago Catholic League. However, going forward, people around the state will need to take notice of this Hammond Morton High School star. The 6'1" guard was dominant on the defensive end of the floor for Mac Irvin Fire 16u this weekend at the Chi-Town Tip Off. He has such quick feet, a strong build, and excellent hands. Woods turned his defense into offense consistently while also displaying plenty of explosiveness in pick-and-roll situations as well. This Mac Irvin Fire 16u team has a lot of talent, but Woods is definitely one that is poised to turn some heads this spring and summer.
