The opening night of the MadeHoops Indiana Clash didn't disappoint, as Friday's slate was packed with high-level matchups and standout individual performances from across the Midwest. From explosive scoring bursts to lockdown defensive efforts and all-around versatility, several prospects separated themselves and set the tone for the weekend. Here's a look at the top performers who turned heads and made noise on Friday at the Indiana Clash:

The 6'5” wing/forward was big time on both ends of the floor for [program_tooltip program_id='2400000' first='Indiana' last='Elite Team Indiana'] 15u. His versatility is his calling card with his ability to guard multiple positions on one end while being able to do a lot of different things offensively. He was able to get in the lane regularly in both games. He was able to play through contact and finish in a variety of different ways. He was a big time rebounder and found a groove on the offensive end as a faciliator in pick and roll situations.

• [player_tooltip player_id='2884308' first='Braylon' last='Garr'] | 6'4” | Guard | [program_tooltip program_id='2478682' first='Kentucky' last='Ambition'] 16u

The best performance of the day goes to 6'4” 2028 Guard [player_tooltip player_id='2884308' first='Braylon' last='Garr'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2478682' first='Kentucky' last='Ambition']. The confident scoring guard went nuclear finishing with 38 points. In the moments I saw of the game, he was under control and was getting to any spot he wanted to in the floor. He's a good shooter from the perimeter that once he sees the ball go through the net, he builds off of it and becomes a tough cover. He has a good build that helps him play through bumps on drives. He rebounds well on both ends of the floor and is unselfish looking to make the right play.

The physically imposing 2029 Forward is working with a lot of tools, but has as much upside as any player that I saw in Friday. Impacts the game on both ends underneath the basket with his size and athleticism. Really good instincts when it comes to rebounding. Defensively, he's a high motor defender that's able to guard all over the floor. He's still a bit raw with trouble catching the ball sometimes, but at just 15 years old, the sky is the limit for the young forward.

[player_tooltip player_id='2622052' first='AJ' last='Jones'] | 5'6” | Guard | [program_tooltip program_id='2400000' first='Indiana' last='Elite Team Indiana'] 17u

The lightning quick point guard put on a show in the second game of the day in Team Indiana's win over Midwest Pumas CC. The shifty guard was able to get to any spot on the floor and anytime he got two feet in the paint, good things happened. He's a tempo pushing guard that balances scoring with creating for his teammates. Defensively, he's an absolute dog that competes every possession. He picks up full court wreaking havoc on opposing backcourts while also being able to contain bigger guards when getting posted up on the block. He plays the game with a joy and has became an instant favorite of mine to cover.

The second leading scorer in the state of Kentucky during the high school season didn't disappoint in the game that I got to see him in action on Friday night. The talented scorer plays at a nice pace and doesn't get sped up. He's not the quickest or most athletic player, but understands how to use his body and does a good job playing through contact. He's a confident scorer that is willing to shoot it from deep. He has a smooth release and always seems to be on balance. He was able to get to the basket where he finished against length with both hands. Was my first time seeing him and he has a bright future ahead of him at the Division I level.

Gaige Lubbehusen | 5'9” | Guard | [program_tooltip program_id='2076451' first='D1' last='Indiana'] 14u

My first game of the day yesterday featured two of the top guard in Southwest Indiana in the incoming freshman class of 2030. Gaige Lubbehusen is a talented scorer with a quick trigger as a lefty. Rushed his shot a little bit, but shoots it with a lot of confidence. He's a willing passer that has a high IQ that wants to make the right play and get his teammates involved. Has a lengthy wingspan for his height and when engaged he can be a difference maker on the defensive end.

[player_tooltip player_id='3576196' first='Teo' last='Mallory'] | 5'9” | Guard | [program_tooltip program_id='2076451' first='D1' last='Indiana'] 14u

The second guard of the [program_tooltip program_id='2076451' first='D1' last='Indiana'] 14u duo out of Southwest Indiana was [player_tooltip player_id='3576196' first='Teo' last='Mallory'], a confident lead guard that seemed to take control of the game in the second half. He's a high IQ guard that understands how to balance his scoring with also creating shots for his teammates. He's a tempo pusher that plays with a nice physicality can play through the bumps on drives and still finish on balance. He's a confident shooter in the pick and roll and off the catch but is best when getting downhill.

[player_tooltip player_id='2140346' first='Dakori' last='Parker'] | 6'0” | Guard | [program_tooltip program_id='2075551' first='Indiana' last='Game'] 2027 UA Rise

When [player_tooltip player_id='2140346' first='Dakori' last='Parker'] gets going, there aren't a lot of players that are able to stop him from doing whatever he wants on the floor. Pick your poison with Parker when he has the ball in his hands. Back up and he buries a three. Pressure up and he drives past you. He's a well built guard that welcomes contact and finishes well around the basket with either hand. He thrives in transition where his speed and athleticism are on full display. High level defender that can guard multiple spots due to his strength. He's active in passing lanes and rebounds well for his position.

[player_tooltip player_id='3033255' first='JT' last='Rink'] | 6'0” | Guard | [program_tooltip program_id='2400000' first='Indiana' last='Elite Team Indiana'] 15u

[player_tooltip player_id='3033255' first='JT' last='Rink'] is a smooth lefty guard that was in full control of the offense in the full game I got to see him. He balances scoring and facilitating as well as any guard I've seen at his age. He operates the pick and roll aggressively as a driver and makes the right reads. He's a quick trigger shooter that when he gets going, he's tough to stop. The most impressive thing I saw out of him on Friday is his ability to rebound at the guard spot. Does a good job reading the ball off the rim and once he gets it, he's off to the races where he is really good with the advance pass.
