Luke put in a strong performance on night one with [program_tooltip program_id='2075496' first='Grassroots' last='Sizzle']. The Waconia forward was battling on the glass, and earned a number of second chance opportunities for his team with his effort alone. Defensviely he showed he can play with physicality in the paint, but has the mobility to move his feet out on the wing when needed. Had a really strong second half as he was getting to the rim in a number of ways, and capped things off with a coast-to-coast dunk as his team won big.

Jermaine is a high flyer out of St. Paul Johnson, and he put on a show in the opening game of the weekend. In the second half he leaked out for three explosive dunks in the open floor, but he was also capable of beating his man off the dribble to get to the rim. He has a quick first step to jab one way, and then explode in the opposite direction to get past his defender. When he wasn't throwing down dunks, he showcased good body control to hang in the air and use his long frame to finish around defenders inside.

Despite the loss, Anthony had some nice moments for [program_tooltip program_id='2075414' first='Colorado' last='Miners']. He's a fluid athlete who plays with great change of speed on the ball. Able to lull his defender to sleep, and then explode with a burst of speed to get into the lane. Has a very long frame for his height, and uses it to extend and finish away from his body. That length also helps him get up in passing lanes, or poke the ball free when his matchup gets careless off the dribble. In the second half he caught a lot of the gym off guard as he flew down the lane for an explosive one handed dunk.

Dre helped lead Team GA to a big win on opening night while playing up at the 17u level. Defensively he's an extremely versatile player. He can act as his team's big when they go with a small lineup, but has no problem moving his feet out on the wing. His motor never seemed to stop, and that showed as he was a major presence on the glass on both ends of the floor. Dre ran the ball hard for transition buckets, showed he can hit the outside jumper, and had a highlight-reel chasedown block in the first half.

Dre will try to ensure CDH's frontcourt doesn't drop off much despite losing a strong 2025 group. The 6'6 forward is a bruiser in the paint, with a strong frame and wide shoulders, but may surprise you with his agility at that size. Dre showcased some impressive footwork in moments with Team GA, allowing him to either go through or around opposing forwards to get to the rim. Has soft touch finishing over the top of defenders, clears out space with his box outs, and isn't afraid to put his physical attributes to use.

Ethan helped lead his [program_tooltip program_id='2075672' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'] to a comeback win in overtime against [program_tooltip program_id='2075674' first='Minnesota' last='Heat']. The 6'8 forward has the strength to play with physicality on the block, but may surprise you with his shooting touch. He can hit the pick & pop three, and can also face up out of the high post and hit a short/mid-range jumper with a hand in his face. Did a nice job of battling on the block, allowing for easy entry passes from his guards, and from there showed good patience to let the play develop. Second straight weekend that I've come away impressed with Ethan's play.

Kobbe will be an intriguing prospect to track this spring/summer. He has a projectable frame out on the wing as he stands at 6'4 with a long and wiry build. Spent some time handling the ball, while other possessions he was out on the wing looking to run off screens and find pockets of space to shoot. At one point in the first half he drained three straight threes, and then got fouled on a 4th attempt, knocking down all three free throws. He's a big time shooter from three, who can catch fire and change the momentum of a game at any given moment.
