After unveiling the rankings for the Class of 2027 last week, it's time to take a look at the updated rankings for New England's Class of 2028!

This is our first rankings update for this group coming out of their first year of high school basketball and will serve as the foundation for our updates going forward, particularly as the spring travel season begins.

Also noteable is the fact that this is the first time we've ranked prospects in this class. In an effort to identify prospects that stood out this winter, we have ranked 25 prospects in this update.

It's still incredibly early in each of these prospects basketball careers, and with that in mind, we want to treat these rankings more as a way to acknowledge some standouts more so than we want to focus on the numbers next to their names. Consider it a list of 25 Prospects to Watch and not necessarily a strictly ranked Top 25.

Lastly, prospects who have announced that they will transfer into the region or have announced the intent to transfer and reclassify next year, will have that reflected in our next rankings update this summer!

A big man that will make his way to Milton Academy in the fall, [player_tooltip player_id='2832761' first='Sonny' last='Dellasanta'] enters the rankings off of a strong season at Oakmont Regional. Already a solid athlete and strong rim runner, he should only continue to get better as he adds strength to his frame. He operates as a roller or pop guy out of screens, willingly mixes it up on the defensive glass, and utilizes his length and mobility to protect the rim at a high level.

One of the top guards in New England, [player_tooltip player_id='2569694' first='Kyle' last='Delves'] announced his presence this winter in the NEPSAC while playing for Mount Saint Charles. An explosive scorer, he has the ability to get anywhere he wants off the bounce and now is making loud plays above the rim when he gets downhill. He's shifty with the ball in his hands, is a talented isolation scorer, and doesn't shy away from tough assignments on the defensive end.

A talented forward at Northfield Mount Hermon, [player_tooltip player_id='2571927' first='Maxxwell' last='Thorpe'] is a prospect to keep an eye on with his combination of size, feel for the game, and skill. A hard playing big man, his motor is a seperator that allows him to make a real impact on the glass and as a rim protector. He's a good athlete that runs the floor hard in transition, has the ability to finish over either shoulder in the post, and can finish through contact at the rim.

[player_tooltip player_id='2571907' first='Jackson' last='Perri'] makes an appearance in the rankings after a solid season at Roxbury Latin where he proved to be a strong scorer and facilitator. A three level scorer with impressive burst and vertical athleticism, he's already showed that he can make tough shots late in the clock. His combination of craftiness with the ball, playmaking instincts, and competitive fire make him one to watch going forward.

A jumbo wing out of Rhode Island, [player_tooltip player_id='2571906' first='Malachi' last='Odugbela'] has the chance to be the next in a long line of talented prospects out of St. Andrew's. His versatility, at 6'5", is special as he brings great positional size, fluidity of movement, and budding skill to the floor. He can make plays with the ball in his hands, continues to improve as a perimeter shooter, and is already a strong finisher in transition.

In all, 195 prospects have appeared in this rankings update, with 170 of them making up the Watch List.

All six New England states are represented in these rankings, with prospects coming from the NEPSAC, Power 5, and each individual state association.

Positionally, these rankings feature 65 Point Guards, 39 Combo Guards, 34 Shooting Guards, 25 Small Forwards, 18 Power Forwards, and 9 Centers.
