He doesn't necessarily create a lot of offense for his squad, but he's really effective as a shooter and second side attacker. He had multiple super nice takes to the rim where he finished with his left hand, and I was super impressed with his ability to use his off hand to keep his line on drives. He also showcased the ability to knock down open threes and even some contested ones; he shot jump shots when the defense was crowding him but set shots when he had time. He might be too small positionally for the next level, but some added creation off the dribble would be huge for him in that regard.

Brown had a huge semifinal game against Boston Latin Academy, especially in the second half. He's a very streaky shooter; he can take some overly difficult shots, but he's incredibly difficult to stop when he has it going from the perimeter. When defenses have to play his three, he's able to use his first-step quickness to get to the rim for floaters and athletic finishes. He also has good vision and is a total blur in transition. He needs to gain some weight and improve his shot selection if he wants to play in college at his size, so perhaps that'll be a focus for him over the next couple years.

Santos wasn't a guy I had known before this tournament, but he made a bunch of big shots against Boston Latin Academy and really impressed me with his general feel and skill level. His shot looks super nice off his hands, and he has good footwork when it comes to coming off screens. His touch extends to the paint, too, where he hit some floaters and looked comfortable. His extra passing and ability to play as part of an offensive system is intriguing, and he has some good defensive ability as well. He's a nice high school player and should be a key part of Charlestown High School's playoff run.

Though Lawson didn't defend Olinto as well as Day from Charlestown, he still did a commendable job on the star point guard. He slides his feet well and is probably Holland's best point of attack defender, especially when he's engaged and active with his hands. Offensively, he's a solid playmaker and has a good sense when it comes to passing the ball. He hit some big shots in the championship against BLA, too, so he can score it when you need him to. Lawson needs to improve his feel for the game if he wants to play at the next level, but he probably has the skillset necessary to play at the low D3 level.

Valentino is a slight 5-foot-9, but he carried New Mission's offense on his back in their semifinal game against Holland, though his squad didn't have quite enough to pull off the win. He's quick with the ball in his hands and is able to get to the rim at times, but it's his jump shot that really impressed me. He made multiple deep threes and didn't need much time or space to get his looks off. He also made a good number of no-look passes into the gaps of Holland's zone defense, too, many of which went for assists or eventual shooting fouls. Valentino needs to improve his physicality and skill if he wants to play at the next level, but he has another year to do so.
