Rankings week coverage continues for the Class of 2027 with a look at the Centers.

[player_tooltip player_id='2470882' first='Theo' last='Edema'] holds down the #1 spot amongst the Centers and checks in at #3 overall in this rankings update. A true 7-footer who just picked up an offer from Georgetown, Edema dominates games in the paint with his combination of size, strength, mobility, and athleticism. He continues to improve as a finisher around the rim, runs the floor incredibly well in transition, and is a high level shot blocker on the defensive end.

Here are 10 more prospects of note at the Center position.

[player_tooltip player_id='2341311' first='Coley' last='Mark'] #12

Mark, a 7'0" prospect out of Cushing Academy, continued to show off his versatile skill set this winter. A long and lean prospect, he intrigues as a floor spacer that can knock down shots from behind the arc, put the ball on the floor for multiple dribbles, and operate as a pop guy in ball screens. He'll need to continue to get stronger to reach his full potential, but there aren't many prospects in this class that can match his combination of size, length, and agility. Defensively, he has the tools to develop into a big time rim protector that can play ball screens in a variety of ways.

[player_tooltip player_id='2341348' first='Spencer' last='Booth'] #19

Booth, a 6'9" prospect out of Milton Academy, continues to improve at a rapid rate while adding strength to his frame. He impressed this winter with his ability to move from dunker spot to dunker spot based on the flow of the offense, his willingness to play through contact in the paint, and his strength as a finisher around the rim. He has a good set of hands, does a nice job of rolling into space out of ball screens, and has a nose for the ball on the offensive glass. Defensively, he impresses with his willingness to protect the rim, works hard to control the glass, and moves his feet well when switched onto the perimeter.

[player_tooltip player_id='2470876' first='Salim' last='Diaby'] #22

Diaby, a 6'11" prospect out of CATS Academy, shows signs of being an elite rim protector at the next level while continuing to play with a high motor on both ends of the floor. He's long, lean, and incredibly athletic, using those tools to his advantage on the defensive end of the floor. He covers ground quickly with long strides and does a nice job of sliding into the help position and blocking shots. He plays with a good work rate, particularly on the defensive glass. Offensively, he runs the floor hard in transition and is particularly effective as a finisher on lobs. As he continues to improve his feel with his back to the basket, his ceiling should only rise.

[player_tooltip player_id='2568357' first='Jalen' last='Rogers'] #26

Rogers, a 6'8" prospect out of Beaver Country Day School, continues to impress with his ability to do a bit of everything on the basketball court. A jack of all trades type prospect, he's incredibly versatile and continues to add elements to his offensive game. A high level athlete, he does a nice job of finishing around the rim, both with authority and with touch. He can knock down shots in the mid-range, pops or rolls out of ball screens, and even puts the ball on the floor for a few dribbles. Defensively, he shines with his ability to guard any spot on the floor, rebounds with a relentless motor, and can protect the rim in space.

[player_tooltip player_id='2470950' first='Kyle' last='Seltzer'] #32

Seltzer, a 6'11" prospect out of Williston Northampton, screams modern big man with his inside-out skill set. A good athlete that continues to add strength to his frame, he does a nice job on the defensive end of the floor with his ability to block shots, rebound at a high level, and provide a physical presence around the rim. Offensively, he does a nice job of finishing plays in the paint, showing the willingness to play through contact and the athleticism to finish above the rim. He plays on balance, moves well in the open floor, and can knock down shots from behind the arc out of the trailer position. He has all the tools needed to continue to rise up the rankings in the future.

[player_tooltip player_id='2560962' first='Emmanuel' last='Malok'] #38

Malok, a 6'10" prospect out of St. Thomas More, impresses as one of the longer and more mobile big man prospects in this class. With a 7'4" wingspan, he has the ability to be a dominant defender around the rim, using his length and athleticism and good timing to really block and alter a high number of shots. He moves incredibly well and uses that to his advantage in the open floor. He has nice touch on his jump shot and the ability to make them from behind the arc. He shows off soft touch around the rim, a good motor on the offensive glass, and the ability to keep plays alive with his length and activity level.

[player_tooltip player_id='2371469' first='Jordan' last='Sutton'] #93

Sutton, a 6'8" prospect out of Stamford, is a wide-bodied post that has long arms and impresses with his ability to move laterally. He's leaned out a bit since last year, allowing him to play harder for longer stretches. He uses his length well on the defensive end of the floor, protecting the rim as an on-ball defender or when sliding across the paint. He has a strong base and uses it to hold post position defensively or to box out as a rebounder. Offensively, he has a big catch radius, soft hands both on catches and as a finisher, and the ability to set really strong screens on the perimeter. He finishes with either hand around the rim and shows the potential to knock down jumpers out to 15-feet.

[player_tooltip player_id='2689558' first='Segun' last='Sanni'] #114

Sanni, a 6'8" prospect out of Mount Saint Charles, continues to show long term potential with his combination of physical gifts, motor, and increasing skill. He has good length, the athleticism needed to make plays around the rim, and a big catch radius. He runs the floor hard in transition, works to establish paint position, and does a nice job of rolling out of ball screens. He keeps the ball high and finishes effectively around the basket. On the other end of the floor, he does a nice job of walling up without fouling, can protect the rim on the ball or from the help side, and really works hard on the defensive glass.

[player_tooltip player_id='2568538' first='Sam' last='Roidoulis'] #116

Roidoulis, a 6'4" prospect out of Windham, is a big and physical athlete that does a nice job of making his presence felt around the rim. He's incredibly strong, bringing a unqiue toughness to the floor as a post defender and rebounder, while also showing the agility needed to guard in space. He rebounds the basketball well, can start the break with good outlet passes, and does a nice job of running the floor in transition. He's capable of putting the ball on the floor for one or two dribbles, finishes with authority above the rim in space, and does a nice job of rolling hard to the rim out of ball screens. He's a lob threat and a strong post finisher.

[player_tooltip player_id='2568465' first='Eric' last='Figueroa'] #128

Figueroa, a 6'8" prospect out of North Middlesex, screams long term potential with his combination of positional size, budding skill, and work ethic. He continues to fill out his frame, has decent athleticism, and shows the ability to make a variety of plays with a high basketball IQ. He does a nice job of making shots in the mid-range, can finish over either shoulder on the block, and should be able to operate as a roller or pop guy out of ball screens down the line. Defensively, he moves well laterally, works hard on the defensive glass, and has the ability to keep opponents out of the paint, causing them to initiate offense further out than they'd like. He will reclassify to the class of 2028 in the fall and attend the Brooks School.
