Earlier on Sunday these five prospects caught my attention with their amazing play leaving everything on the floor for the final day. Despite it being early in the day it really says a lot about these prospects as they came well prepared to play at a high level to propel their respective teams to victory. These five prospects did just that and I will explain how in this article!

Cooper Nelson is a guard that sets a good pace on offense always making sure his teammates are set before running plays. He can either push the pace or slow the pace down doing both well with the ball in his hands. When it comes to shooting the ball, he shoots with a nice form from the perimeter converting multiple of those opportunities. As get gets downhill he will occasionally pop mid-range jumpers off the dribble with a nice touch. When transition opportunities start, he runs his lanes correctly off the ball spotting up for perimeter jumpers or getting easy layups. Cooper really had an impressive showing against [program_tooltip program_id='2076446' first='Nike' last='Pro Skills San Antonio'] as he got into the lane with ease scoring at an elite level inside the paint using his quick handle and counter moves to his advantage. Expect Cooper to be on college radars during his senior campaign if he keeps up this level of play!

Javonte Ford is a slasher that excels at filling the lanes correctly which translated into easy dunks and layups for him throughout Sunday. Whenever his OWE 17U team was on a fast break, Javonte was ready to make a highlight dunk to change the momentum of the game. Throughout the weekend, dunks of his took the opposing team's rhythm off, affecting the players play the next couple of possessions. Defensively he has the physical tools to guard multiple positions, making him a threat on both ends of the floor.

Joseph Spann is a physical guard defensively that doesn't give opposing players enough room to operate. He really gave opposing guards a difficult time all weekend making them uncomfortable while handling the ball with his aggressive ball pressure. Also, Joseph is willing to make the extra effort to make hustle plays for his team on both ends of the floor keeping possessions alive on offense or securing defensive stops. On the offensive end he wasn't asked to carry the load, but Joseph is very capable of scoring on all three levels when needed. I wouldn't be surprised to hear Joseph's name on college radars as time goes by.

Niran Ogunyemi is a true competitor while he's on the floor and you can tell just by watching him play. He shows his competitive nature by making winning plays on both ends of the floor. He impacts the game in so many ways especially defensively. Defensively he disrupts opposing ball handlers with his strong frame forcing them into turnovers or bad decisions. He had an intensity to his game that I don't think many opposing players were ready for matching up with him. Offensively, Niran plays well off two feet in the lane when driving to the basket in half court situations. Then when on a fast break he will be the main player leaking out for easy opportunities in transition for his Owe 17u team. I expect Niran to keep up the same play for his senior season coming up soon!

[player_tooltip player_id='2436190' first='Carter' last='Rawlins'] put on a huge scoring output in the second half against Team ESBY scoring on all three levels. As the team's guard he swung the ball quickly getting multiple teammates involved in the offense. Carter is not afraid to receive contact while having the ball in his hands drawing plenty of non-shooting fouls. Later in OT Defensively he did well on the ball in front of opposing guards forcing them into turnovers. Carter is willing to make big plays down the stretch of crucial games showing his competitive nature.
