Fresh off earning a second-team all-district honor, [player_tooltip player_id='2405854' first='Jordan' last='Hawkins'] made a strong start against Grace Prep. He showcased his shooting prowess by sinking multiple three-point attempts. These shots were executed from catch-and-shoot opportunities and by exploiting screens. While he's undoubtedly a formidable shooter, Hawkins also possesses the ability to drive to the basket when he finds an opening. The driving ability he displayed drew contact, resulting in him being forced to the free-throw line. He demonstrated his reliability in converting crucial points from the line. Jordan's ability to score on all three levels makes him a formidable threat for big-scoring games.

[player_tooltip player_id='2767889' first='Alex' last='Alexander'] Is the anchor in the middle for Mesquite High School as he showcased his prowess on both ends of the floor against Grace Prep. He fiercely contested for positioning in the paint, capitalizing on close-range shots that he effortlessly converted into easy points. Alex's rebounding prowess was evident as he frequently secured defensive possessions for his team, contributing significantly to their rebounding statistics. On the offensive glass, he demonstrated his ability to provide putback opportunities, further solidifying his versatility. Alex's active involvement in multiple possessions against Grace Prep highlighted his overall athleticism and determination. With his blend of versatility and skill, Alex stands out as a player to keep an eye on in the 2029 class.

[player_tooltip player_id='2137310' first='Cadarian' last='Urune'] is a 6'4” guard from Allen High School who showcased his impressive athleticism and intensity during his game against Desoto High School. His offensive prowess was evident as he effortlessly slashed the rim with force and finished through contact. Off the ball, he posed a significant threat in the open floor, capable of being a lob threat. Cadarian's unwavering effort level was a key factor in changing the momentum of the game.

I was thoroughly impressed with [player_tooltip player_id='2454445' first='Anthony' last='Spencer']'s performance in his game against Allen High School. Standing at an impressive 6'8”, Anthony is a forward known for his exceptional athleticism and consistent high motor. Offensively, he dominates the paint as he frequently receives open play finishes due to his ability to be a target. Defensively, his length and coverage make him a formidable presence, especially in the paint. With his impressive accomplishments thus far in his high school career, Anthony is poised for a remarkable season ahead.

[player_tooltip player_id='2555712' first='Dylan' last='Franklin'], a guard from Crandall High School who I watched against Lancaster High School. He is poised to make a significant impact this basketball season. With an aggressive playing style, he's comfortable creating his own shot in the half court from all three levels. He's also an open floor threat when he attacks the rim, using his size to overpower the opposing defense. On the defensive end, Dylan is willing to crash the glass, securing numerous rebounds and gaining possession. After collecting defensive rebounds, he pushes the pace. Dylan is a promising prospect who coaches should closely monitor, as he is scheduled to graduate in 2027.
