The 30 guys who we think deserved the honor to be the best in the state on the All State Team.

First Team

[player_tooltip player_id='1574223' first='CJ' last='Armstrong'] of Richfield (Sr). Armstrong pushed Richfield into the top ten of state this year with his 31.4 points per game leading CJ to a spot in the top five for Mr. Basketball. Armstrong is headed to Augustana next season. Richfield finished far better this year than many expected and had a headline win over DeLaSalle.

[player_tooltip player_id='1579885' first='Nolan' last='Groves'] of Orono (Sr). After losing [player_tooltip player_id='2408187' first='Lucas' last='Knudson'] to a tragic accident and [player_tooltip player_id='2300011' first='Nate' last='Chavez'] to injury Orono was very much short-handed. However, Groves responded by pushing his team to third in state, 24 wins against a brutal schedule, 34.2 points per game shooting 56 percent from the floor, ten games of 40+ points (on 56 percent shooting!), 8.5 rebounds, six assists, and 2.7 steals a game. The Gatorade Player of the Year in Minnesota and a top five finalist for Mr. Basketball. A Yale commit if they can keep high majors away.

[player_tooltip player_id='1572690' first='Chase' last='Thompson'] of Alexandria (Sr).
