<p>Rich Township won the game of the night against Kenwood 70-65 in OT. [player_tooltip player_id='1766460' first='Al' last='Brooks'] Jr had a put back as time expired in regulation to send it to an extra session and he and [player_tooltip player_id='2734366' first='Jayden' last='Williams'] continued to do work from there. Kenwood's only two losses this entire season were to Rich. Brooks finished with an insane 27 points, 15 rebounds, and 4 dimes. Williams had 15. Their standout sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='1845352' first='Jamson' last='Coulter'] went for 17 points. Kenwood got 23 points from [player_tooltip player_id='1385290' first='Amari' last='Edwards'] before fouling out.</p>

<p>Warren topped Rolling Meadows 60-48 in a game I covered with a story on the front page. Sophomore superstar [player_tooltip player_id='2323571' first='Jaxson' last='Davis'] stuffed the stat sheet for 14 points, 5 rebounds, 5 dimes, and 3 steals. [player_tooltip player_id='2291830' first='Javerion' last='Banks'] came up huge with 13 while big man [player_tooltip player_id='2688322' first='Zach' last='Ausburn'] went for a double double of 14 points and 10 rebounds.</p>

<p>Benet upset the best team from central Illinois this season Quincy 58-50 having to go down to Normal to do it. They jumped out early and never looked back. Junior [player_tooltip player_id='2105390' first='Jayden' last='Wright'] continues to have big games scoring 21 in the victory. The senior commits [player_tooltip player_id='1598682' first='Daniel' last='Pauliukonis'] (SIU) and [player_tooltip player_id='1598658' first='Blake' last='Fagbemi'] (Truman State) went for 17 points and 14 points respectively. Santa Clara commit [player_tooltip player_id='1385298' first='Bradley' last='Longcor'] capped his fantastic career with a 17 point performance.</p>

<p>Evanston continues their fantastic season with a 47-43 hard fought victory against Glenbard West. [player_tooltip player_id='2321433' first='Theo' last='Rocca'] continues to come up big game after game as he had 17 points in the victory. Glenbard West was led by [player_tooltip player_id='1552441' first='Josh' last='Abushanab'] with 16 points.</p>

<p>St. Patrick upset Mt. Carmel 49-48 to start the evening off at UIC. It ws RJ McParlin who had 12 points and 8 rebounds along with [player_tooltip player_id='2422874' first='Anthony' last='Favia'] with 10 points who were in double figures for St. Pats. The Caravan got 22 points from junior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1845357' first='Noah' last='Mister'] and 12 points from [player_tooltip player_id='1385307' first='Cameron' last='Thomas'].</p>

<p>DePaul Prep looked like the best team in the state on Monday night as they won 68-28 against Kaneland. It was a defensive masterpiece along with balanced scoring. [player_tooltip player_id='1435692' first='Rykan' last='Woo'] had 14 points while fellow guards [player_tooltip player_id='2323334' first='AJ' last='Chambers'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1545133' first='Makai' last='Kvamme'] each had 10. Kaneland got 12 points from their senior standout [player_tooltip player_id='2391706' first='Freddy' last='Hassan'].</p>

<p>Brother Rice had no problem going downstate to beat Peoria 60-41. Star [player_tooltip player_id='1545120' first='Marcos' last='Gonzales'] had 21 points in the win while his right hand man [player_tooltip player_id='2538898' first='Jack' last='Weigus'] dropped 19. Miami (OH) commit [player_tooltip player_id='1766506' first='Leshawn' last='Stowers'] had 7 points.</p>

<p>Glenwood won a tight game against Triad 43-41. Jonathan Helm scored the game winner on a dime from [player_tooltip player_id='2815576' first='Cameron' last='Appenzeller'] for the win. [player_tooltip player_id='1552447' first='Tyler' last='Thompson'] had 13 points for Triad.</p>

<p>Manual continues to just blitz the 2A field as they won 52-29 against Williamsville. Bradley commit [player_tooltip player_id='1576114' first='Dietrich' last='Richardson'] had 18 points in the victory along with 5 rebounds.</p>

<p>Althoff knocks off Teutopolis on Monday night 48-37. They came out of the toughest 2A sectional in recent memory and are primed for a run in Champaign. Oregon football commit Dierre Hill Jr had 21 points.</p>

<p>Hope Academy won narrowly 47-44 against Leroy at Illinois State. Tyjuan Hunter led them back to state with a 26 point performance. Dominick Hale contributed 13 in the win. Sam Edmundson was the top scorer for Leroy with 13.</p>

<p>Effingham St. Anthony won 62-58 in OT against Mounds Meridian. Mounds Meridian was down 17 at one point coming all the way back to send it to an extra session, but St. Anthony had too much.</p>

<p>The Cinderella run for Eastland continues as they beat Aurora Christian 51-43. Asa Johnson and Jacob Baumann each had 11 points for Aurora Christian.</p>
