The state champion has been the biggest addition to this team especially in major games this season. Amari may have been the smallest player on the court but when the Broncos needed a big bucket he delivered each time. During the game he had some trouble scoring at first as the Dolphins tried to speed Kenwood up several times. During the 4th quarter Young made a run and needed a big bucket as their double-digit lead dwindled to 3 points. Edwards as he’s done in multiple games ran off 6 to 8 points hitting two threes in the process going bucket for bucket with Whitney Young’s star Clark. Amari led Kenwood with 16 points and another shot at the city championship on Saturday.
