Tyson had a monster third quarter where he started taking over as a slasher and defender. Able to make an impact on both ends of the court, Tyson had two blocks and two steals by using his athletic gifts. I also loved his effort on defense as a few times he got beat and then got back into the play to either force a miss or turnover, not hanging his head after a ball handler got past him. Tyson's play of the game came on a coast to coast drive and finish past a shot blocker. One of the top players in the 2027 class, Tyson has made significant leaps from freshman to sophomore year and is getting some serious attention from mid and high major programs.

A strong utility piece for Lakota West, I love what Tyson brings to the court. A strong guard who defends tough on the ball and isn't afraid to be physical, Davis turned a steal into a fast-break layup and hit a time and space 3-pointer. To close the game, Davis hit clutch free throws to secure the win for his team.

One of the top shooters in the Cincinnati area, Maginn left it all on the court with five made 3-pointers. Hitting some deep shots from the top of the key and wing, Maginn is a guard you must pick up within 25 feet of the rim. I was also impressed with his ability to swing ball to teammates against the zone, using left-handed passes when the angles required it. A player with a ton of winning qualities, Maginn has the toughness and skill set to help you win at the small college level.

One of the most athletic players in Ohio, Riep had two monster slam dunks and was everywhere defensively as well. Riep had the Oak Hill fans going crazy in the first half when he rose up and slammed it over a Lakota West defender. Defensively, Riep finished with three steals and three blocks, flying around the court. If Riep can develop a confident 3-point shot, he could make a huge impact at Ashland, one of the better Division II programs in the region.

No messing around by Cincinnati St Xavier even without [player_tooltip player_id='1462534' first='Jacob' last='Wassler'] as the Bombers used a great defensive effort to secure a 20 point win and advance to regionals. Waleskowski came out firing with a pair of 3-pointers and an and-1 mid-range jumper in the opening minutes. He capped off the win with two huge slam dunks off his right foot. Impressive that the Bombers handled business so easily without one of their star players.
