Singleton played amazingly in this game—no one on Mt. Vernon's roster could out-rebound him. At one point, he even grabbed a rebound over what seemed like all nine other players on the court, then went back up and scored a second-chance basket for his team. He consistently drew double teams, but when that happened, he either beat the defense or found an open teammate for an easy bucket.

A key moment came when he got fouled going for a layup on the left side, making one of his two free throws. This play ignited his team's game-defining 16-2 run, fueled by a mix of scoring and drawing fouls, and great defence.

Cooper led the Red Devils in scoring with 24 points, showcasing his finishing ability and offensive skill set. One moment, he'd spin his way underneath the basket, and the next, he'd use his dribble moves to create a three-point shot for himself.

Defensively, he was everywhere—disrupting passing lanes and locking down Ertel when they matched up. On one of his breakups, he stole the ball and scored in transition. Cooper also showed his clutch free-throw ability late in the game, sinking both attempts with less than 30 seconds left to extend their lead to a more comfortable two-possession advantage.

Ertel put up 29 points in this hard-fought loss. He showed his usual great offensive skill. He was great finishing in the paint with his left hand and with his deep threes. What impressed me with his play was his defensive ability and how he can predict how the offense is going to react. He had multiple pass break ups, and multiple steals that were at clutch times.

He went near perfect from the free throw line as well, going 8/9. He did a great job all game, drawing fouls and getting the extra points.

Vise is an amazing team players. When he could have been selfish and shot his own shot he would often pass off to the teammate who has the better look, to make sure the team scores. Despite that team-first mentality, he also knows when it is his time to score. He had 13 points in this game, 6 of them coming off the three ball. One bucket coming from a slightly contested dunk on [player_tooltip player_id='1388408' first='Tre' last='Singleton'].

Defensively, Vise is one of the only Marauders who could compete with Singleton's size in the paint. He had a couple of big rebounds. But on defense, where Vise shines, it's with his off-ball movement and cutting off lanes before they open. As a young player, he already has a great feel for the game.
