Makhye and Douglass never looked back and continued to pile it on, led by the playmaking senior PG. McKnight finished his performance 2 points shy of a double-double, managing to put up 10 assists after sitting most of the 4th. McKnight sees the floor at a high level and makes reads before the play opens up at times. Sees the floor well and knows how and when to hit his teammates when they're open.

Came away impressed again with Micah's all-around effectiveness over the game. He flies around the court looking to lock everything down, grab the the rebound, and beat everyone down the floor to repeat again. Does a little bit of everything for Takoma. Starts the fastbreak with strong rebounds and can push it up the floor himself if the defense doesn't cut his path. Strong athlete but smart with the ball and makes timely passes to his teammates. Didn't force his shot and took what the defense gave, doesn't step outside his role. One of the few players I think has a chance to put up 5x5 (5p/5a/5r/5s/5b) on the statsheet on a lot of nights.

Lewis is the stable-scoring off-guard to Douglass' backcourt unit. He has a sweet jumper that falls from any range. Solomon had a stretch in the first half where we went on his own scoring run. Made some smooth midrange fadeaways, got to the cup and showed some touch. Didn't have to shoot much in the second half since the team was up a large margin.

Eric's ability to create shots was on full display in Coolidge's win tough win over Takoma. Eric showcased his ball-handling as he was the No. 1 option tonight missing some fellow starters. He had to break down the defense and find space to shoot quickly before the help and recovery effort closed him in. Eric missed some of his usual looks in the first half, but ripped off a huge scoring run in the 4th quarter to take back control over the opponent. Turner sank a number of rhythm pullups over the closeout, and attacked the lane hard to convert some tough layups. Lethal attacking the paint in transition, using his size and speed to beat the defense to the rim. Valiant second-half performance that helped his MVP case for the game.

Marlon got off to a cold start this game but showed up big when the team needed him most. Really put the sealing finish on a game that Kipp was trailing most of the night. Calhoun fired off 3 straight three-pointers late in the 4th quarter to push Kipp over the top and grow their lead. Even in his struggles through the first half Marlon was able to get clean looks past the arc using screens. Used his handle well at other times to create a look off the dribble. Nice patience and calmness about his game that helps him maintain composure even through early misses.

Derrick flashed some real game in his increased minutes due to some Coolidge guards sitting. He got to the rim pretty well and was able to withstand some ball pressure as well. Played well as the game increased and ended up finishing with double-figures an an intense game. Hauled in some rebounds and started the break, finished in transition some. Mixed in a couple nice floaters over the help defense and added a couple steals.
