About Solomon
Expert Analysis
William Lloyd III | Prep Hoops Scout
Solomon is an efficient bucket-getter who doesn’t need a lot of touches to stay in rhythm. He can score from knocking down the trey, and appears very comfortable creating for himself in the midrange. When in attack mode, Lewis creates a difficult cover for anyone with his unlimited ways to score. He can react off of the defensive coverage and work to his spot with the handle. Solomon also does a good job of keeping his head up and finding open players while attacking for a basket. Sound overall offensive game, type of player to end the game with a quiet but productive 20 point night due to the type of shots he takes and hits.

Lewis is the stable-scoring off-guard to Douglass’ backcourt unit. He has a sweet jumper that falls from any range. Solomon had a stretch in the first half where we went on his own scoring run. Made some smooth midrange fadeaways, got to the cup and showed some touch. Didn’t have to shoot much in the second half since the team was up a large margin.

-Smooth handle allowed him to get to his spots throughout the game in a big matchup with Flowers. Lewis used his size and craftiness to split double teams/hard hedges to get downhill to the rim throughout the night, scoring well at the rim as well as on midrange jumpers. Liked Lewis’ effort on the defensive end, serving as a disruptive force both on and off the ball to nab three steals throughout the game while staying out of foul trouble.
