I had the opportunity to travel down through southern Indiana on Thursday and Friday and have boots on the ground at two different games. First, I attended Northview at Bloomington South on Thursday evening before popping over to Seymour to watch the Owls take on Silver Creek on Friday night. Both were very good, fun contests. Here are some thoughts and evaluations on seven under-the-radar prospects that I was able to get eyes on during my short trip.

This guard has some quick-twitch burst and a pop of athleticism that you don't necessarily expect. Buis has had an excellent sophomore season for Northview and is a big reason why the Knights are 22-2 even after Thursday's loss to Bloomington South. In that contest the 5'11" playmaker finished with 11 points and 3 assists. Look for him to have a strong spring and summer coming up.

There aren't that many Class of 2026 prospects with a Division I offer at this point so including Caldwell in this "under-the-radar" write up is a bit of a stretch, but he is a guy who I think could quickly add more low-major interest as the spring and summer come around. At 6'8", Caldwell has impressive athleticism and mobility in the front court. He runs the floor so well and is bouncy at the rim. The junior big man finished with 12 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 blocked shots on Friday night.

Clark is your prototypical Bloomington South guard. He plays without turning it over, keeps the ball moving at all times, has the strength and IQ to be a good screener, and then is ready to score when the time comes. He led the Panthers with 21 points in a win over Northview on Thursday night while also dishing out 5 assists.

My phone started buzzing in a hurry on Friday night after attending Seymour's 57-54 victory over Silver Creek. Not only was it an impressive win over a Class 3A Top 10 team that, admittedly, a good deal more individual talent, but I was also tweeting about Johnson scoring 33 points for the Owls. He is very strong, physical, undersized forward who made his living attacking the basket, finishing at the rim, and simply being able to play through contact at all levels. Johnson is likely a football player at the next level, but he has small college programs interested from afar after Friday's performance.

A highly sought after small college prospect, Moutardier showcased his pure scoring ability on Thursday evening. His size and off-ball cutting ability pair well as he found some success slashing to the basket and converting against some mismatches. However, he can also REALLY shoot it from beyond the arc. The 6'4" guard finished with 19 points and connected on three three-point shots.

This 6'1" guard came in averaging around nine points per game as the second leading scorer for Northview. However, he quickly surpassed his average in the first quarter scoring nine points while connecting on three three-point shots. Perry went on to score 26 points to lead all scorers in the game, but the Knights suffered just their second loss of the season, falling to 22-2, with a 78-68 loss at Bloomington South.

It wasn't Sprigler's best game of the season, the Dragons second leading scorer (16.0 points per game), finished with "just" 11 points. However, he really picked it up down the stretch as Silver Creek tried to come back and get over the hump against Seymour. His shot-making ability remains impressive and he is consistently impactful on the defensive end of the floor as well. Look for him to become one of the more sought after small college guards over the course of the spring and summer.
