<p><a href="https://x.com/tchoopsczar/status/1894955436664672670">Going back to February 13, 2013 Minneapolis North beat MInneapolis Roosevelt 23 times</a> in a row until last night when Roosevelt beat North 81-68. </p>

<p>Early, the first 4 minutes of the game was all North leading 9-2 before Cameron Sandeen hit a shot at the foul line. North took a 14-4 lead and continued to lead at 10 minutes left 21-12.</p>

<p>8 minutes left in the 1st half Roosevelt was down 27-18 after a Jason Wind inside score. At this point Roosevelt was still struggling with the North pressure but it seemed like Roosevelt was out rebounding North giving themselves extra chances.</p>

Then the next possession Roosevelt forced a turnover Esparza was aggressive going to the basket forcing a foul and getting two free throws. Roosevelt took their first lead 32-31.</p>

<p>With 3 minutes left Roosevelt put the game away with a 12-5 run to finish the game. Steven Hunter got a run out lay-up, and Roosevelt made lay-ups to finish the game. Peterson knocked down 3 3-pointers and had 5 assists.</p>
