The district tournament is coming up and regionals are right around the corner. In two weeks time, half of the teams in Kentucky will no longer be playing basketball. With that said, Postseason KHSAA Basketball is a special time of year. Here's a look at some players who can be a true X factor in their final postseasons.

Woodford has had a very up and down season but they have all the tools to win the 8th region if they are playing at their best. One tool that the Jackets have and most in Kentucky don't is a 6'10 big man in [player_tooltip player_id='1951942' first='Carson' last='Probst']. Carson is a good rim protector and capable of finishing around the rim. He is having a solid season and can be a difference maker in the postseason.

The entire roster at St. X seems to get a lot of praise but Graham has somehow flown under the radar. A bruising big at 6'7, Krezmien is capable of matching up against opposing posts like [player_tooltip player_id='2104594' first='Keashawn' last='Jordan'] or [player_tooltip player_id='1144955' first='Julius' last='Edmonds'] as the Tigers push for a 7th region title next month. I also think Graham is overlooked as a college prospect.

Newport has had a roller coaster of a season but they're still dangerous in the 9th region. Anderson is a big time defender who can also score when needed. Acting as the main defender, Dashawn will match up against the likes of [player_tooltip player_id='2357590' first='Andy' last='Johnson'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1575699' first='Athens' last='McGillis'] for Newport to get back to Rupp Arena next month.

Another guard whose purpose is primarily to be an on ball defender, Dunn can be a big time X factor in the 10th region title race. Ethan is capable of staying in front of about anyone on the defensive end and can get to the rim on offense. Likely to be tasked with guarding [player_tooltip player_id='2120028' first='Malachi' last='Ashford'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2694641' first='Garyn' last='Jackson'] to get Montgomery to the state tournament, Dunn is a true difference maker.

Great Crossing scores the ball well and really can defend but [player_tooltip player_id='1208167' first='Gage' last='Richardson'] is incredibly important because he's the most consistent jump shooter on the team. Gage shoots 42% from three and that keeps defenses from doubling down too hard on [player_tooltip player_id='1130310' first='Malachi' last='Moreno']. For the Warhawks to have a long postseason run, Richardson will need to be a very big part of their offense for the next month.
