We are just within a week from arguably the best week of the Indiana High School Boys Basketball season with Sectional take place across the state. This week, both Brandon Ramsey and myself will give my in-depth previews of each Sectional however, I want to take a look at five players from each class that you need watch for to have strong showings. Here are five players from Class 3A to Watch.

One of the top unsigned seniors in class 3A is South Bend Saint Joseph wing [player_tooltip player_id='1297002' first='Chase' last='Konieczny'], so he was a very obvious choice to include on this watch list. Like expected, the senior wing has had a very strong season for the Huskies with his 22.2 points and 8.4 rebound per game. As a pure shot maker, Konieczny is one of the best we have in the state and with the Huskies looking to get back to the state championship, you can expect him to show out this week. SBSJ kicks off Sectional 19 play vs South Bend Washington.

Another top unsigned senior that we have in Class 3A is Guerin Catholic power forward [player_tooltip player_id='2053658' first='Bryson' last='Cardinal'], who has been one of the top bigs in the state throughout the entire year. He has been the leading guy for the Golden Eagles with his 20.0 ppg and 9.4 rebound this season. A legit contender to be an Indiana All-Star this season, Cardinal is one of the more consistent bigs in the state around the basket and can really stuff a stat sheet. Guerin Catholic has a Sectional 25 matchup with Lebanon.

When Cathedral made the switch to Class 3A, they were automatically viewed as favorite and one of the reasons they were was because of junior wing [player_tooltip player_id='1561135' first='Keaton' last='Aldridge Jr']. A player that has really started to come into his own in the in-state 2026 class, Aldridge Jr averaged over 11.0 ppg, 5.2 rebounds, and led the team in assists with over 3 a game. He makes an impact on both ends of the floor with his physical style and high motor while being a tough finisher in the lane. Cathedral has a date with Bishop Chatard in Sectional 26.

Fort Wayne Blackhawk recently made the move up to Class 3A this offseason, but the Braves are no stranger when it comes to cutting down the nets in Indianapolis. They could do so once again with junior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1738845' first='Briggs' last='Pardon'] leading them in the backcourt like he did this season. Pardon has broke out as a player for the Braves with his 11.0 points and 2.8 assists per game. Pardon is a guard with a lot of smoothness to his game and displays great court IQ. To start off Sectional 21, Blackhawk has Fort Wayne Concordia.

The in-state 2027 class has some prospects with a ton of upside to them and one of those players is Silver Creek point guard [player_tooltip player_id='2140328' first='Brandon' last='Hunter']. This season has been Hunter coming out party on the hardwood with him averaging 8.5 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 7.5 assists per game. He is one of the best pure point guards in the state and one of the more unselfish ones at that. He will impress during Sectional week when the Dragons face Sectional 30 opponent Corydon Central.
