<p>The Florence Christian Eagles sneaked by the Spartanburg Christian Warriors 52-46 on Saturday at Wilson Hall in the opening round of the SCISA Class 3A State Tourney. The Eagles used a balance attack to gain the victory. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1687285' first='Taylor' last='Greene']</strong> led the way with 15 points. The freshmen trio of <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2693915' first='Sullivan' last='Hardy']</strong> 11 points,<strong> [player_tooltip player_id='2778909' first='Brayden' last='Berry']</strong> 10 points and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2778911' first='Riley' last='Minton']</strong> 8 points helped the Eagles gain the win. </p>

<p>The Oakbrook Knights defeated the Beaufort Academy Eagles to advance to the next round of the SCISA Class 2A Playoffs. The Knights received strong play from senior <strong>Daniel Shetley</strong> with 28 points. Shetley the tallest player on the Knights roster played inside outside and on the ball all game long. Shetley hit several free throws down the stretch to secure the victory for the Knights. </p>

The Knights get the pleasure to play Cathedral Academy (26-12) in the next round of the SCISA State Tourney on Tuesday. </p>

<p>The Greenwood Christian Eagles started slow in an opening round victory over St John's Christian Academy. The Eagles led 26-22 at the halftime break over the Cavaliers. Eventually the Eagles turned it up a notch and won the game pulling away 65-41. </p>

Scott-Palacios returned to the team in December and was sporting a heavy right knee brace in the win. Junior guard <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1806908' first='Ty' last='Kennedy']</strong> was able to race to the bucket all game long and finished with 19 points in the lopsided win. </p>

<p>The Andrew Jackson Academy Warriors led from start to finish in a win over Lee Academy 57-28. The Warriors led 41-15 at the halftime break and were able to rest several players in the 2nd half. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1354733' first='Gage' last='Dicks']</strong> and <strong>Hall Sease</strong> both led the way with 11 points. Junior <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1916763' first='Vashahd' last='Schofield']</strong> playing more on the ball today added 9 points. Senior guard <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2175542' first='Hayden' last='McClung']</strong> chipped in with 9 points. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1364910' first='Braysen' last='Stockman']</strong> certainly was the Player of the Day here in Sumter. Stockman dropped a cool 39 points in the Falcons win over Trinity Collegiate 63-52. Braysen connected on 4 three-pointers to move to 2.065 career points as a junior. He was able to score the rock from 3 levels on the floor today. Braysen at times today made things look quite easy. </p>
