The biggest thing that made Scott-Palacios one of the stars of championship weekend was his pure toughness. Isaiah tore his ACL a little over 6 months ago, yet was still able to suit up and play all 44 minutes for the Eagles. Although he clearly wasn’t 100%, he battled on the floor for loose balls, on the defensive end for rebounds, and at the rim for tough buckets. Scott-Palacios had 10 points in a key third-quarter turnaround for Greenwood Christian and went on to finish with 23 points and 10 rebounds in the triple-overtime win.

Scott-Palacios was a huge part of Greenwood Christian’s comeback win in their first game of Day Two. He impacted winning with his ability to play bigger than his size on both ends of the floor. Isaiah was the only consistent scoring threat for the Eagles and despite it not being his most efficient day, he made shots to keep his team in it until they got hot late. He worked hard on the offensive and defensive glass, used an effective pump fake to get defenders off balance, and finished strong at the rim. Scott-Palacios also defended the opponent’s big man. He put up a dominant 29 points, 11 rebounds, and 5 assists in the win.

was running with 3D Elite on Saturday in Spartanburg, and he was fantastic in the first game of the morning. Isaiah went for 26 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 steals to help boost his team to a win over Upward Upstate. He started the game with an instinctual defensive play, followed by a pair of threes. As the game went on, he was able to score around the paint more, but his defense never wavered. Isaiah looked strong through contact and showed no signs of rust from a knee injury last winter.

Scott-Palacios is a player who surely isn’t on many people’s radar outside of his area of the state. Isaiah is not flashy with his game at all. He has a bit of an old school flare of play. He will pull out the set shot and look to attack the cup. He doesn’t take many shots outside 15 feet on the floor. He and the Hawks finished (21-7) a season ago.
Isaiah averaged 16.4 ppg and 9.8 rebounds a season ago.

headlines our list of standouts from the 15U Division of the Prelude League’s Southern Exposure Showcase. He had a terrific game against AJ Bouye Elite on Saturday Evening, playing all 36 minutes and putting up 25 Points and 18 Rebounds. Isaiah was in attack mode with the ball in his hands and is a strong driver, has a nice handle, seeks contact and finishes through it, and has very good feet.

Scott-Palacios is not flashy at all with his play on the floor. Isaiah scored the ball at will in a contest we took in on Saturday afternoon vs the Carolina Shockers. He finished with 34 points in the win. The amazing stat line was he did it with just one three-pointer made and 14 two-point buckets from the floor.
Isaiah plays the game with a bit of an old school – old game vibe. He understands on how to score the ball with drives to the bucket – getting to spots on the floor and being efficient with his game.
